Tell my your miracle! I need to hear this today!

Well this isn't a miracle, more like a psychic moment. Several weeks into my second pregnancy I woke up absolutely convinced that it was twins. I told myself, "don't be silly, you can't possibly know that." And I forgot about it. About a month later I had my first ultrasound and while the doctor was looking at "the baby's heart" he said "oh no". Yep, there was a second one in there. True story.

well, miracle....
i believe everything is a miracle. plants are growing, thats miracle. we are growing, that's a miracle. suppose we get headache, then we take aspirin, in the next few minutes we get cured. that's also a miracle. everything that is happening around us are miracles. we just don't realize that. instead, we think that a miracle should be something strange; a miracle should rarely happen.

This is what I call my Christmas miracle and it all came about due the loving kindness of people right here at MyLot.
I'm on SSI disability benefits..as Christmas was nearing last year I got very downhearted and depressed ...despite I'm a pagan/wiccan I do still love having a Christmas tree..which by the way, is actually a pagan thing..the bringing of evergreen into one's home goes back to the Druids and many Christian traditions actually have their roots in pagan ones. Anyway I was so downhearted I started a discussion here..."have you ever wanted something so bad...but" So I rattled out how down I was that it was looking like this would be the first Christmas ever that I just couldn't afford to get a tree.
So everyone in the discussion started telling how sometimes they couldn't afford something, and so forth--I was even thinking of forgoing paying some of my bills just to get a tree...it almost became my mantra...I got to get that tree....I got to get that tree
Then one day, I checked my email...one of my friends here said...to please hold off getting a tree and to give me my address...I'm scratching my head wondering as this MyLot friend lived in England while I'm here in America...then at first I thought..OMG..she isn't going to somehow send me money is she? Nope...it turned out much better.
About a few days later, I get another email from an addy I didn't recognize--it was announcing that due to a generous friend, who will be anonymous our company (in North Carolina) was sending me a Christmas tree...
I almost feel out of my chair..I immediately emailed my friend and she confessed that it actually wasn't only her but many other MyLotters had banded together, pooled money together to get a Christmas tree...besides her identity I have NO idea who the others were that got involved with this to this day. On December 14th a UPS truck rolled up and delivered me my Christmas tree. I began calling it my love tree, as it was given to me by the love of my MyLot friends here--that tree lasted the longest I ever had...Here's a picture of it...my "love" tree

God works supernaturally! When my daughter was around 10 she fell at gymnastics class and broke her elbow. It couldn't have been a simple break, oh no, a piece broke off and she needed surgery to fix it. We had no insurance. We went to the Children's hosp. to have the out-patient surgery done. Everyone was so sweet and caring. The operation went well and she went home with a cool, bright pink cast. When the bill came (app.$2,000.), I prayed about what to do. I called the financial office and they said I could write a letter and ask for charity. Only a very few applicants were chosen each month and if they did not choose you that month, you could not re-apply. After submitting my letter I thought well, a broken elbow is not going to merit charity. But when I called at the end of the month, my bill was $0.!!!!!The doctor even waived his fee. Thank you, Jesus!

One time I had gotten a fungal infection in my brain, and it had caused me to have lesions on my brain. From those lesions, I got hydrocephalis, which is when you have water on your brain, well one side of my brain was larger than the other side, and they kept doing tests, and telling me that I was going to have to get a shunt put in, to drain the water out. It was making me very forgetful, and off balance...and just didn't feel good. Well right then, I started asking my family and church family to start praying, cause I didn't want to have to go thru this. I know alot of prayers went up for me. A few weeks later, I had to go see the neurologist, well Praise the Lord, he told me that the test they did, showed nothing, everything was gone...he couldn't explain what happened, but I knew what happened. I knew the Lord had healed me..and that wasn't the only time he's done it for me...I thought I was going to have to have another heart surgery a few yrs ago, all the signs and symptoms I was having pointed to it. This would of made my third surgery, and I wasn't willing to go thru it all again. So again, I got all my family and church family and friends praying, and when I had to go see the surgeon, I was really nervous, my hubby went with me for support. And after talking to the doctor and him asking me questions about how I was feeling, he said after looking at the tests he didn't feel that I needed to have another surgery, that everything was working like it should be. I cried then, my husband even had tears in his eyes, and I Praised the Lord, he did it again!!!! The doctor actually said that he believed the Lord had something for me to do yet, and that prayer works..and I believe it....
