Strawberries and Melons

I agree that chocolate on the strawberries make them taste better! I love melon! Fresh cut cantaloupe with a scoop of vanilla ice cream....... YUM! I just picked up some seedless watermelons and my daughter has been taking them for lunch!

I don't care much for melons but do love to eat strawberry's they are one of my favorite fruits.

Sometimes I think I am the only person in the world who doesn't like strawberries, I have never had a nice tasting strawberry, I think they are just too bitter, I have even been strawberry picking but not even the freshly picked stawberries are nice. except of cource if they are coated in chocolate....

I love starwberries and especially watermelons, but with prices rising on everything, fruit has become the bottom of the list. I was at a local grocery the other day, and couldn't believe the price of watermelons. They were $7.99, now that is just ridiculous. I don't know how we are supposed to live nowadays with prices going up the way they are.

It certainly is a great time of year for Strawberries and melons, I just bought a huge watermelon today. We will be serving it at my daughters birthday party on Saturday.
