Gearing up for summer, we are pulling out our camping gear. Do you like to camp? If so what type of area do you camp in? Rustic or developed? Do you have to have bathrooms? Showers? electricity? Do you use an RV or pop-up. Tent? Do you prefer trees? water?
We camp in Wyoming on a reservoir, lots of trees, no plumbing and pretty rustic. This is where we go every year. We try to spend atleast one weekend a month. We don't allow any electronic devices, phones, radios, computers, etc.
Can't wait!

I usually camp at festivals so we have water nearby and toilets, and even showers if you don't mind queuing and using communal ones.
I have a little 2 man that is easy to assemble, only 2 sticks for the main body of the tent and one for the porch area. I haven't used it much recently though as my day has bought one of those huge tents that has 2 separate tents and a middle section so I've just slept in one of the smaller tents within that. We also have small 2 burner gas stove so we can make tea and cook basic things.
I'd like to go camping as a holiday though as it is cheaper than hotels and I do enjoy it, I'd just worry about where to get drinking water if we were really out in the sticks.

That sounds like fun, I have done one festival, a Ren Fest. We have an easy tent as well, we try to keep everything as easy as possible, don't want to waste too much time on setting up. When you camp a ways out, pack in water. You learn to be very lean on the water. We bring a 10 gallon jug for cleaning and then a cse of water bottles, frozen, for drinking.
