 When eating mircowave popcorn, do you try to get all of the butter and salt out of the bag, either by licking the bag or using your fingers? I'm pretty surprised by the number of people that have told me that they have never heard of this, so I'm expanding on another discussion from last night.

1.  luvstochat (5242) | 3 months ago |  I am one of those people that have never heard of licking the popcorn bag when it comes out of the microwave. I just dump the popcorn into the bowl and throw the bag away. I don't think I would ever lick the bag it just seems icky for some reason.

We don't even keep it in the house, only the kernels to make it by hand (takes the same amount of time and taste 100 times better anmd none of the chemicals to worry about)
Isn't there enough salt & butter on the popcorn?

My husband is prone to horrible breakouts of acne, and the way that I make popcorn is the only way he can have it without feeling like his face is going to explode.

When I do buy irt I get the kind with least amount of butter since there are so many additive in that kind of popcorn. No I nor any of my family lick the bag or try to get all the butter out of the bag. We usually put the pop corn in bowls to eat it.

I don't really don't it anymore. I usually pour my popcorn out into a bowl now. I don't know but I know when I'm at the movies I always want more butter. Somehow it's never enough butter. Strange.

But now my husband, that is a different story, he has a bag every night while watching tv.. I haven't seen him lick the bag, but I will be watching him more closely now.. I do lick the bowl and beater after making cakes, cookies and icing, but that is another topic..
