My university is far away from my hometown. So i just see my family twice ayear,in summer vacation and winter vacation!or even once,if i got a part-time job here. So i always call my family on weekends night.Once a week.I sometimes miss them so much, and when calling them i feel so happy and forget everything. It gives me encourage. What about you?how many times do you usually call your family a week?

I still live with my parents/family so I really don't get to call them so much but I always call or send a text message to my younger sister because she loves it when I call her. It makes me and her happy.

Whenever I am away from my home, I try to call them almost every day ,so that they don't worry about me.I really want to keep in touch with my family when I am away from home.

I am in my thirties, have my own household and live in the same town as most of my family. I talk to my mom and sister about 3-5 times per week. I see my Dad 2-3 times. I love my family and we are all every close. I wouldn't change this for the world. The first time I was away from home, I called my mom atleast every other day! There is NO shame in that!

Yea,you are right! But since i was a child,my parents had to work outside from day to night and i seldom to see them the whole day,not even talk with them. They had no time to take care of me,and i learned to independent. Now we don't talk much on phone.I know they love me,but i will be much happier if i have a family like you.^^

I live a hour and a half from my parents and with them both in there 70's I make sure I call them every other day and we have contact on the computer also that makes it nice.I also make sure that I call all of my brothers a couple times a month for they do live farther away and all have families but we do keep in touch alot. We are a close family and like to let others know what is going on with our lives.

I call my family very often. Once a week is the minimum. I would call them to say my greetings and update them whatever things that happened recently. But most of the time, I send them SMS. I do that aside from giving them a call.

I would go visit my grandma at least once a week and that will normally be on a Monday or Wednesday. Then I would visit my mum on Saturday afternoons at around 5pm. Twice a week I would go visit my god-grandma who lives with my god-granpa. Both just loves to chat because they hardly receive visitors as all children have grown up and moved away.So I will go sit and chat with them. Would go for lunch or dinner with my dad once in a while cos he's a busy man. Many visiting to do !!! LOL
