Farmer Wants a Wife

I find the reality shows to be too phoney. I myself prefer the sitcoms (situation comedies), but then again, there are probably a lot of people out there who feel the same about sitcoms as I do about reality television.

I guess they must be popular, that's why they keep coming up with so many.:)

I've never heard of that show. You know, some reality TV is good and some is not. Especially show's about love and getting people together. Shows about love and relationships only rarely work out. I just don't believe in that type of show. I'm more into show's like Survivor or American Idol, at least at the end you get something good for being there.

I have not seen this one. I have seen a preview for it, but it does not strike me as something that I would watch. I do catch myself watching some pretty stupid reality television though.

I saw this one listed in the TV Guide and just shook my head. I don't have any desire to watch this. I will be very surprised if the ratings are high enough to keep it on. Some of the reality shows are ok, some are even good, but this one sounds like it needs to get the big BONG!

Hey Star! I chose to ignore this one! I watch too many reality shows as it is! LOL! It just looks too much like that show "Outback Jack" from a few years ago where "Jack" lived in the Outback and was very woodsy and rough around the edges and they got a gaggle full of high maintenance girls together for him to chose from. They would have challenges each week and, in the end, the girl he felt learned the most and adapted to the low maintenance lifestyle was the one he chose. Sure, it was funny and fun to watch them have to learn how to handle getting down and dirty in mud, without weekly manis and pedis, no plugs to plug in a curling iron or hair dryer, and not bathroom fixtures with which to clean up and no big mirrors with which to apply their 14 tons of makeup. But, if I wanted to see that again, I would just watch the reruns of Outback Jack.

I am sort of over that kind of thing. I will always watch Big Brother, and will likely tune back into another season of Survivor some time in the future if something appeals to me about a future season...though I rarely watch Survivor. I will always watch Amazing Race and am looking forward to the new season of The Mole as I liked it when it was on years ago. I will also likely always watch The Real World and all the Road Rules Challenges because it is fun for me to watch those people make idiots out of themselves! LOL! But, I am over the dating games. No Bachelor, no Bachelorette, and no Farmer Wants a Wife for me!

Hi Starlight I have seen this show but there ar so many of these reality shows it bores me to death-my son is the one who tends to watch them all the time,espwcially america' or britain's top model there ae so many of tthose too-personally I think they are ridiulous-it will be interesting to see what other mylotters have to say about this-littleowl

To be honest, I feel the same way you do...there are way too many out there. I've watched one just to see what the hype was about and that was about who wants to be a superhero. It was more than enough for me.

I personally think they could've gotten a better looking farmer. I mean come on the girls oohhed and awwwed him when he drove up on the tractor but i didn't see it. And the girls weren't all that pretty either and that one looks rather manish. But i'm watching it even got it dvr'd just cause its a hoot to see the city girls chasing chickens and washing pigs.

im seriously tired of these so called "really" shows. they are nothing but auditions for people to become famous and even if they do become famous they are less than a c list actor or actress! and it proves that those people have no self respect!

This sounds like a funny show. At least it would give us all something to laugh at. I have never seen it or heard of it.
