How do you see Africa?  |

 Ok, so I was borne and raised here in Africa. Watching international news sometimes makes me wonder what non-Africans think of Africa! Is it just a waste basket, backwordly?? I would love to know you view on the continent called Africa!

2.  bcote212 (1017) | 2 years ago |  I think that most Americans think of Africa as still wild. There are many areas that are, but I know that the entire continent is not like that. I have a good friend that is located in Johannesburg South Africa, and it seems like a really great place. I am hoping to get out there to visit soon. I do think that it is pretty cool that when it is summer here it is winter there because he is located in the southern hemispphere and I in the northern.

My view of Africa is - beautiful! Full of space, and thankfully a lack of people and industry (only in some areas of course). Love comes to mind when I think of the Southern Regions lol. I can't wait to go back. Do tell me about yourself... please | |

It is a shame. I had a friend at school who moved here from South Africa.

| 6. Debs_place (6759) | 2 years ago |  It seems to me that Africa is very diverse, it has large cities and cultural centers and it has rural areas too...but I a going to guess it is more rural.
It climate is diverse as well....from the colder areas at the southern tip to the hot and dry arid areas of the desert.
It has it rich and well to do and unfortunately it has it starving and homeless.
It seems to be a continent where many of the countries are destroying themselves, their people and their culture with internal strife and corruption preventing it from developing to it's fullest extent.
I think Africa has the best of everything and the worse of everything.
Am I close?
