 I love this movie.
it is so well written, and I love the determination
and focus that Andy Duframe shows in breaking out.
He set a goal to break out and he let nothing stop him
from reaching that goal, not even "the sisters"or the "hole".
this movie is definetely one of my top 10 all time favorite
movies.
Morgan Freeman is also an excellent actor in this movie.
My favorite line "Get busy living or get busy dyin" when
Morgan Freeman gains a newfound hope on life
because of Tim Robbins "Andy's" encouragement.

I love Tim Robbin's character, and I can only wish that if life ever gave me such a challenge as his, I will be able to handle it with the same sense of courage, hope, fortitude that he has shown, without becoming bitter, without losing my humanity. For someone who has been dealt an unlucky hand by fate, he could have have become bad, evil, or hopeless. Even in prison, he was a blessing to his fellow inmates.
Just a totally wonderful film, without being preachy. I can watch this film over and over.
