Can God be behind disasters?

I agree with you. It is just hard to believe because God can control everything and we see bad things happen. But I have learned that we are in the world and sufferings are upon us because of our fallen nature.

Also, we always want to see things happening to us are good. We complain to God when trials come. But when we have no problems we tend to forget about God. Without our problems we won't remember the Lord.

Another thing is that we are all social beings and are meant to help each other. If innocent people aren't affected by others' actions, we are not motivated to help because we would just think that someone suffers because of his own doings.

saying God is behind all this disaster is saying that God is behind all men's life tragedies and it is not like that!

Men and only men are the architects of their destiny...we are the ones that pollute the water, that litter the rivers and the streets, we are the responsable for the ozono desaster with those fosiles combustibles, etc....

Nature is only reacting to that! defending itself from us! God is not sitting there to watch since he is not a sadist that enjoys with our tragedies...we are paying our own mistakes and karmas...WE make this disaster occur, and no matter how many warnings we get, we keep on ignoring God's vocies that tell us to stop...but money is more powerful that Go'd voice most of the time...how could you blame God for our own ignorance?

Our collective negative thinking is why these kinds of things happen every day. our negative thoughts about ourselves, the world, other people is why thing happen in the world, to ourselves and each other. Once we learn to change our mind s about ourself, and our role in this world, this kinds of things will happen over and over again

Dear Buola2871 First we should know how do we define god. Mankind needs something to look up to an ideal or an aspiration. GOD may only be a word. But what this word stands for is the universal desire of human beings to be inspired. One great scholar of India went to foreign country to deliver a lecture in a college about the apirituality. Where all the students tried to insult that scholar and one of the student who was leading wrote to the black board that GOD IS NOWHERE. tHE SCHOLAR ENTERED INTo the room and all the students asked him to read the writing and give reply instantly. The learned man within a second give his reply by rearranging the writing i.e. GOD IS NOW HERE. All the students were amazed and beg apology for their misdeeds. Science always say that science can not prove the existence of god, but we can prove mass, weight or motion. God should be left out of all sensible reckoning even when dealing with non-materials issues.Gods loves every body and he never punished his creature. Whatever the natural calamites are occured it is man made problem and due to our ignorance .There is proverb that God does whatever good for us. It is universal truth. I fully agree with your views.

Before we put on God we humans could had checked our ways how we treat this eath we kill animals for our tasty food, we pollute the air and water for comfortable life, some kill people for their selfish deeds, declare wars with countries, fight on religions and may on silly matters we kill others. Are we really obeying GOD. Will any of human do favour if these things happen or forgive other if that man stabs or do something harh. Humans even kill others for silly matter for pleasure for selfish matters. Should God really look on these people who really disobjey and do sins and may be born to do sins. I hope if people attitude to earth even has lead to global warming. I hope it might be earth who is angry finally making disater may be its reaction to humans may it too has forbidden the value of forgiveness. I hope as long as humans disobey God all these happen be positive and we will get positive and even if we get negative take it or make it as a positive and I am God will be there always. Basic fact is that we peopole never like to go to dirt or wastes we like to keep a distance from that we tend to like in better place a palce were we could get peace. I hope the same may be applicable to God too, as God wish to be in peacefull side and God will be there always

If you read in Revelation in the Bible you will see that what is happening is exactly said it would because man is not turning away from his evil ways!

The sixth trumpet has blown and read what is written. All the natural disasters in succession and worse and worse and now great number of people are killed and it will continue until the last trumpet is blown.

Look what happened in the cyclone at maynard..thousands are dead and thousands are missing and the Leaders are using the help from other countries to propogan themselves and are not letting countries in to help as they should.

Tornados are hitting also and soon things will happen at sea. Plagues will hit millions and if God doesn't shorten the days..no flesh will survive.

Jesus came to save us from our sins and warn us that man doesn't repent and turn to God they will pay for their sins.

I have been noticing the prophesies are being realized. Just looking at the sky I know we are in the 6th trumpet and that all what is happening is what has been prohesized. As sodom and gomorrah were destroyed and once the earth was with flood..so what is happening is exactly what God said HE WOULD DO if man didn't repent.

But one good thing..there is the resurrection for everyone. There is still the anti-christ to come and religions to fall.

There are two witness that God said He would send to warn the world and they will be killed and left 3 days on the ground without being buried and then God will ressurect them and still people who will see won't believe..just as in the days of Noah.

Everyone laughed at Noah and still today many say its a nice story. Lots wife turned into salt for not obeying and man will pay for not obeying and not repenting.

Jesus said the Kingdom of God will be restored on Earth and that all that is happening would happen.

Jesus was prohesied that he would come to save the world and look what happened..the Jews didn,t believe because they expected another kind of messaih and they had Jesus killed and are still waiting for their messaih.

What is happening in the world today is written in the Bible plain language for everyone to understand.

When 911 happened it was the start of the blowing of the sixth trumpet and United States will be hit again, so will Canada, England, Australia and others. The next time »USA is hit ..it will be so terrible that no one can imagine. Al Quaida is working day and nite to prepare to hit all these countries.

I moved out of the city to be out of the way of what will happen. All my friends and family also have moved away to be as far from the target as possible.

Famine will hit the world completely. No one will be spared. It is already happening..flour is not called white gold. People are asking for help in countries that are supposed to be okay..more and more.

The waters, the oceans, will also be touched and no more fish will be able to be fished and boats by the thousands will be caught in storms and sink and people will die.

Jesus warned us, God Himself warned us and are we listening. No we say that God can't be doing this..but He is. He had done it before ..killed people, the children, animals even the parents for turning against Him.

We are just tenants here and like any tenant who doesn't listen to the landlord he is evicted..only in this case you die.

We don't go to heaven right away..we must first be ressurected and stand before God for the Judgement Day and see where our name is written..in the Book of Life or the Book of Death.

God has His religion. Always has but people prefer to make their own and think they are doing the right thing but they don't follow God's laws as they should and are misleading people.

it is too beyond our comprehension all that is happening..what is important is to repent and try to follow what God said to do if we even want a chance to be found righteous on Judgement Day.

this morning I am looking at the sky and I know the world has changed and that we are living in the prophesies. I am a native indian..so for us the sky tells us all and the nature too.

when I watched all what is happening in Maynard..the thousands killed I know we are living in the prophesy and what the leaders are doing to their people is exactly what is written they would do. They don't care about the people or God, they care only what they can get for themselves.

As what happened to Jesus..so will happen to the two witnesses who will come and do miracles and have powers even greater than what Jesus did to show the world that God is doing exactly what to do and to repent. But the world leaders won't listen and kill them and the world will be agast to see the two men dead on the ground and as Jesus..only wont be buried..theyw ill be left there..in Jerusalem it will happen..and then they will be ressurected and go to heaven..but still the world won't believe..so God has to do all He said he would do..exactly as He told Adam and Eve what He would do if they disobeyed Him and they were punished and they are dead as God said said they would and we have been suffering because of them.

We struggle for our food and we give children in pain. We are living exactly what is predicted.

Take out your Bibles and go read in Revelations..sure its not easy but if u take your time you will see what is happening today is written.

People will laugh at what I write but they did it to Jesus too and he was the Son of God.

But God will have the last laugh and I have repented and doing my best to live as God said to and I hope that when I die that I will be found righteous when He ressurects me for the last judgement.

I agree with you. If one questions God's existence then his faith is weak.

Well, it is time NOW to repent and to live how God asks us to do so we be found righteous.

I know there is one witness of the two God said he would send and he will make himself known soon and as Jesus the world will not believe it even though he will do miracles and do alot worse than the cyclones. Keep an eye out for him.

We must not wait until the last minute. That is why no one knows the time or date or month ..only God knows as he wants the true hearts to come to him. So now is the time. Now one thing is to start from sundown on friday to sun down on saturday to glorify God instead of Sunday which isn't God's day but the sun god Ra. Prepare meals for the next day..and then pray, read the bible and ask Him to open your eyes so that you understand and He will, he opens the eyes of only those who sincerely want to be His.

There is so much understanding that I am getting and so I am spreading it around. I don't argue with people as Jesus said not to bother and let God handle them but to seek out those who are sincere and teach them. I am going to have a Bible study in my home for all those who wish to study what is coming.

The preachers are not doing what they are supposed to. They are not talking about the last days and warning people that they must repent and change their ways before its to late. They don't teach that we are in the sixth trumpet and what is happening is written in Revelation.

If you have a church called the church of the living God..seek them out..you will see a huge difference of what is going on now in the churches. God's people are few but are growing in number as God is looking into the hearts and bringing them to Him as the time is growing near and we don't have any more time to waste.

Take your bible and read what is written about the sixth trumpet..ask that He helps you understand and then read what will happen in the seventh trumpet.

As in time of Jesus people will act the same and only the sincere will know and recognize the two witness who will come. They will be killed by the Leaders in Jerusalem and be dead without being buried for 3 days on the ground..then God will ressurect them and all will be in awe but as in time of Jesus the world will still not believe and then the end will come. Jesus will take over.

Yes I agree with you. Why we give reason to all people fault? Why think why is this happening to us. God will not do all this he doesnt one any innocent people to be hurt but we people do this and we have to harvest what we planted. They are not afraid of what they say, They just keep on blaming and complaining instead of asking forgiveness and mercy for all of us. This is natural phenomena but we could stop this if we are not hard headed. We are favor on every thing that is new and high tech easy for us to use but we did not see what is the bad effect for all of this. Some people cut all this tree and make tall buildings now we are out of tree to protect us from natural disaster that is only one example there are many more.... If we experience such disaster we should not blame God for this but of ourselve coz we come into the limit of it all. But there are still a chance for all of this if we come to Him and ask for forgiveness and mercy.

God Brings all things to earth and disasters are not one of them, i believe. God gave us rain so the trees can be watered, but there are floods because we abused the trees and cut them down... drainage are full of garbages, there are landslides because the trees are no longer there to hold the ground, and so many people dies...

We are bound to have natural disasters come to our lives because of our choices too...

we can't blame God for all the things, good or bad.
