what is the most trying thing that you've gone through in your life  | |  a lot of people look at me now and say that i act much older than my years. after i hit about 12, it was just kind of expected of me to stop being a child a grow up. when i was 13, i had this guy that was stalking me. i must say that it was one of the scariest things that i went through. the event peaked when he grabbed me one day and tried to throw me down a flight of stairs. some family members came outside with a bat and machete and we never saw him again. though this was pretty scary for me, it wasn't the most difficult.
for me, it had to be my senior year in high school. my father and i were homeless due to his lack of planning during his 20 years in the military. we lost everything from furniture, to memories, to pets and friends. we spent the better of about nine months bouncing between crappy motels and friend's houses. i kept all of my belongings in a suitcase and a plastic container, and this stuff travelled with me from day to day. the one thing that i took away from this situation is to always be prepared so as to never be in situation like this ever again. what is the hardest thing that you've ever had to face?

Years of feeling abandoned, and ignored had finally got to me, I felt alone, and took a bottle of pills. And i sat there in the hospital staring at my pulse, in the 160's just sitting there. thats when i knew i didnt want to die, I just wanted to feel someone love me. but after i looked around and soon realized i was still alone, and the only person to love me was myself. I think this was great moment for me. although i still dealt with my depression, I still think of the night when no one was there for me, just myself. And now when i feel alone I remember that i will always love myself.
