The most beautiful place I have been to is Venice, Italy. The alleys and the gondolas are so peaceful. There are hundreds of bridges that would beautiful when the sun is setting behind them. I cannot wait to go back with my husband. The time I went was with a college class, and we only visited the city for 3 days!

I would love to go there, or at least photograph it.. I've had breathing problems ever since I was little, so I'm not too sure how wise it would be for me to scale such an enormous wonder..

My husband and I had our honeymoon at Kauai, Hawaii. I think it was the prettiest place I've ever visited. It was so lush and green. The coastline was lovely, and we took a helicopter ride to view the island. We also took a boat ride circling the island, and we have dolphins swimming alongside.

The sand was white, the water was clear, and everything just look fresh and green. I would love to visit that place again.

I haven't been out of the country yet so I could say that the most beautiful place that I have ever been so far is here in Baguio, Philippines. It is a very cold and nice place for family or couples to have avacation with.

myLot reputation of 89/100. Pitgull (750)   ranked 78 out of 1,361 in traveling  4 months ago

It's cold, but you say it's nice....what pretty about it? Trees, or just green or what, what's it look like?

Never left the country, how old are you? Wow...:) thank you for sticking around:)

I think we have some beautiful country here in Vermont. But Paris was by far the nicest place I have ever been. A lot of history and a lot to do.

myLot reputation of 89/100. Pitgull (750)   ranked 78 out of 1,361 in traveling  4 months ago

I took french in highschool, I will be in Paris before I die...

Glad to hear someone else enjoyed it...New York has some beautiful country...

myLot reputation of 66/100. maliki2 (248)  4 months ago

I agree with New York. I love it here in Vermont, and I'm a short distance from NY as well. But the Green Mountains are beautiful here as well as the landscape!

thumbup The most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life is Cancun, Mexico. I was there some time ago, but I still remember its beauty. I have never seen such gorgeous turquoise blue water. It was just breathtaking. The beaches are simply beautiful. The restaurants are so wonderful and food is out of this world ... and the service is remarkable.

My husband and I visited some of the ancient Mayan ruins. Chichen Itza is easily reached on a day's trip and is truly phenomenal glimpse into the ancient Mayan culture and history. We took a bus and it took about 8 hours to get there. Along the way we saw people and how they lived. When we walked down the path into the cleared forest and saw the ruins we could not believe our eyes. The pyramids were huge! We climbed one of them and found all the rest of the Mayan ruins fascinating.

We went in November and the weather is very humid. The shopping is great! Our resort hotel was wonderful. We had wonderful made to order breakfasts. Lovely!

The nice part of this trip is that it was a prize that I won ... so everything was paid for. We stayed for 4 days and wanted to extend our trip but changed our mind as it was raining the day we left.

I think it would be wonderful to climb the ruins, I just can't imagine enjoying my time in Mexico. I live in San Antonio, I know outside of the resorts and all, the rest of Mexico, and most people who vacation there realize...

during a point in your vacation someone will be begging you for money, or send their kids to ask you to buy something, I'm just not a big fan....

I'm sorry to sound so negative, I'm thrilled you and your husband enjoyed it and I couldn't possibly nor would I attempt to take that from you....

I just see the problems between Mexico and America, and here along the border, so my views are much more political than travel oriented when dealing with Mexico...:\ I guess I suck..

myLot reputation of 98/100. marilynut (897)   ranked 416 out of 1,361 in traveling  4 months ago

Well in Cancun we didn't have a problem with people begging for money. I lived in San Diego for many years and used to go to Tijuana ... now there is where the kids beg for money but the children usually have something to exchange like gum or paper flowers. It is sad.

I guess my problem lies in the idea that people are moved, and saddened by poverty, and donate to help people when they are in other countries, but when we're here at home, we know there are thousands in our own country, who could use our help, those same people....

My mom went to Cancun and had an awesome time, I wanted to go until I moved closer to Mexico. From what I hear about the border towns, shows me exactly the sort of people I want to avoid in my life.... I just don't think it's beneficial to fund an economy like that of Mexico...

myLot reputation of 89/100. Pitgull (750)   ranked 78 out of 1,361 in traveling  4 months ago

I love Canada, I would probably live there...

The people are very educated on world affairs, they seem to know more about American Politics, than American's...

I've just always had wonderful conversation, and met some very friendly people...they will include you in everything if you're around, when you're with them, it's like you're with people who are just living like you are....

Besides, my mom lives near Niagara Falls, so I grew up knowing the border was 40 minutes away....Clifton Hill....drinking age is 19..:)

This is a difficult one as there are a few places that I think are beautiful for different reasons! My first is Thailand because it is full of people awho are so friendly and welcoming to their country and also beautiful beaches. The second is Antigua because it also has beautiful beaches and is simply gorgeous with such a laid back attitude and very relaxing. My third is Rome because is has so much history and beautiful buildings and the food is so yummy! x

myLot reputation of 89/100. Pitgull (750)   ranked 78 out of 1,361 in traveling  4 months ago

I've never had Roman cuisine... What kinds of dishes do they prepare? I've always wanted to go to Rome, Antigua I'm told is beautiful as well....

Hmm, I think I know a lot more about different places across the world, than I thought, I have yet to hear of a place I don't know, and yet there is no way you'd confuse me with an atlas..

myLot reputation of 97/100. frankiecesca (650)   ranked 172 out of 1,361 in traveling  4 months ago

Roman cusine is very good as is most of Italian food! Lots of pasta and pizzas that are home made and delicious!

myLot reputation of 89/100. Pitgull (750)   ranked 78 out of 1,361 in traveling  4 months ago

why is it so beautiful? What about it?

myLot reputation of 85/100. everafter (136)   ranked 427 out of 1,361 in traveling  4 months ago

You might want to check my blog about the place + picture:

htpp://jadeguti.blogspot.com/2008/04/what-i-love-about-anawangin.html

Its a hidden cove here in the Philippines, with white beach, no electricity, no resorts, only you, the sky, sea and the pine trees. Where on earth can you see PINE TREES near the BEACH? here only in Anawangin.:D

Its so pristine, beautiful, virgin cove.
