 Have you ever read a book that was terrible but you finished it anyway? Pubbet by Joy Fielding is just that book. Puppet is the first and last book I will read by Joy Fielding. Even thought there might have been 300+ pages, I read this book in about 2.5 hours. This was definitely a mystery for simpletons, at least a quarter through the book I knew who committed the crime.
Amanda is a happily, wealthy and twice divorced lawyer living in Florida. She receives a message from her first husband that her mother is in jail for murdering a strange man by shooting him. The action doesn't really pick up and by the middle of the book, you wish you were the victim. I had to finish this book, because I always finish what I start, but gee wiz this book was terrible, I wouldn't even recommend it to a dog to chew on. So how about it, have you ever read a book that was terrible but you finished it anyway? What was it?

No I was reading Paint It black by Janet Fitch. its about a girl that is actress, and her boyfriend kills himself. its so drawn out, and she takes her mourning to a whole new level. the mother of the son comes and stills his stuff out of her apartment and its sooooo stupid. I had to just stop, couldnt take anymore!
