 This thread is for the people who used English as their second language. Please rate your English skills from one to ten. Ten is the highest and one is the lowest. How good are you in written and in oral.
I can rate myself in written as 7, and oral as 5. Honestly I'm having a hard time talking in English, because I'm quite disturb about my grammar.. lol I can speak english but not that good, maybe because I'm not used talking in English. How about you guyz?

well as i have said they are not used talking in english that's why they having a hard time talking. my friend told me that if you want to boost your english especially in talking, always read a book, not just reading, read it out loud, so that your tongue will be used in talking in english. thats it. have a great day ahead!:) | |

That's the only way you get to enjoy the style of your favorite authors to the extreme plus that helps to improve writing skills. Speaking is a bit different,though cause not so many people use sophisticated words in day-to-day life | |

I'm a Chinese, i can rate my written as 6 and oral as 7. my spoken English is ok but my grammar is a little poor.
i think here is the prefect place to practice our English..
Plus, i think your engligh is very good!

| 5. angelgirl_JNM (26) | 3 months ago |  ok english is my second language but i write it alot so i think im pretty good in it. i loved doing grammar in school when i had an english class.. i even wrote a poem once for my teacher for christmas and she said she tried to correct it but she didnt find any errors. so i'd give myself a 9 in writing.. as for the oral probably a 7.
And if english is your second language, what is your first language?

| 6. kun2349 (2165) | 3 months ago |  English is actually our main language here as all the teachers in school teaches in english.. For me, i will rate my written at around 5-6 only as i dun really care about writting the right sentence as long as i can get the message thru to the other party.. LOL
For oral, i will rate it at 7-8, because i can speak fairly well and can understand as well^_^ haha
