hi! noob here... you won't mind if i respond to your question right?^_^

i go for rock music too... when i was a kid, i dig alternative, nirvana and the likes... then i came to like greenday and punk because it's upbeat, and for me it's even more catchy than bublegum pop... just last year, i got hook to emo and post-hardcore music too (since i like punk, it's origin i guess) although i really can't tell the difference between the two... so to give you a clearer picture, they'd be the music of my chemical romance, saosin, etc. whatever genre they claim they dig - i came to like them when they're at their career's peak... because of the growling in an upbeat music... that's just so new to my senses...

right now however, i'm digging the cradle of filth, trivium, thrash metal, extreme metal type of music... i believe metal is the more vigilant version of a classic orchestral sound... to my ears, the instrumental parts in a metal song is similar to that of beethoven's and mozart's...

please don't ask me exactly how and why though. i really couldn't tell. i'm wondering myself how and why it's like that... maybe some other metal lovers could put the real feelings into words better than i could.

you have to appreciate the growling and screaming... i'm kinda fascinated with it... i'd been dying to learn how to do it. my sister and our other female friends can do it. i really envy them.

oh by the way, don't you think their lyrics are more vigilant or radical too? i personally think they make more sense.^_^

hi there. i thought suddenly i would gain more friends. huwaaaahhh... i like metal too. but, i just started appreciating it last year.^_^

it also helps me think well. oh, and i can have a sound sleep while a loud metal music is on. hmmm...

There are lots of songs that not only are cool but at the same time very interesting to listen and to think about what is that song :)
