Jason & Sonny

I haven't heard anything about a recast for Michael yet but know they fired Dylan Cash for storyline reasons so they will be recasting. Just a matter of time. I too hated that they killed off Emily.

I don't think they can totally do away with the friendship of Sonny and Jason but I do think it's time to change the dynamic of it. They have both changed drastically over the last several years. Also, Jason's changed alot since becoming a father. It's time to change his life some. Sonny has turned into a romantic one minute (Of course he always does) and is out of control the next. I think it's time for a change there too. Especially since he has changed for Kate.

I think they need to play on the lack of trust Jason now has for Sonny. I have to disagree with you on who's fault all of this with Michael is. There is plenty of blame to go around but Sonny did save Kate and not Michael. If his guards had been there and he had not decided to simply stop having them around this might not have happened. I can see it from Jason's point of view. He entrusted his nephew with Sonny. Michael had been kidnapped, runaway, been threatened, almost killed numerous times and now shot. Sonny made promises that Jason counted on. It amazes me that they did not make this change sooner.

I kind of meant by not Sonny's fault that it was only the fault of the person who shot Michael. Sort of like when someone's car gets stolen, and someone says, you should have locked your door. Well, yeah that would have been good, but it is only the fault of the thief. But yeah, it would be Sonny's fault over all of the other people involved.

That's the problem with us old timers. We have seen it all. Too much of the same old thing sometimes. I do know they have already aged Lulu once but to make them all the same age would not be the first time there either. I hate to see Carly go back to Sonny even for one night yet again but am not surprised. Would have been better to be Jason. Alot can happen in 17 months. Let's hope it's something good. Without Jason I would think Elizabeth will have no storyline either so maybe what they do with that will give us something to look forward to. Though I doubt it. In my opinion there are too many new characters and not enough utilizing the veterans who have stuck it out.

I agree - use what they have! Is Nickolas ever going to do anything...anything again? Oh, well, he have to have Luke Time - over and over and over...Bring back Mac and Lucky and throw in Sam and Coleman! And bring the Cassidines back and give Sonny a run for his mob space. Bring back the cassidines and reunite the Cassidinse/Spencer war with a Tracy Q thrown in! Give us some Edward salted with Alice! A few dashes of Spenilli each week and I'll be hooked again!

Good point. I had forgotten all of that. You are right. Things have been strained since. Jason is laying most of the blame on himself but his trust for Sonny has gone completely now. I am looking forward to seeing what they do next simply because for me the most interesting storylines right now are Robin and Patrick and Spinelli and Maxie. That is just not enough to hold my interest for long.

Maxie and Spenilli are a hoot! They just dont' do them enough! If I have to see/hear another rendition of "poor pregnant me" from Robin, I'll puke and if Patrick whines anymore, I'll smack him. Good Grief - can't they even give the storyline some strength and intelligence, instead of the stupid whining and "whooooo is me!!!" That thing about him thinking Anna is so hot - gag me with a spoon as they used to say! What a stupid addition to a stupid storyline!

I think that the split between Jason and Sonny can be a great storyline if they follow through and make it one. Earning each others trust back, under the circumstances, should not be taken lightly. In real life it would take a great deal to bring these two back together and it should on GH as well. Thank you for responding.

I personally agree with you. GH needs a shake up and get out of the mob. Or at the very least not make it the main storyline. I would love to see more of the other characters who have stuck it out all these years and still performed well. I would love to see them finish some of the stories that have been left hanging and to concentrate on more of the hospital staff. With May sweeps coming up in a week or two perhaps this will be the final step to starting a huge change.

I too am tired of the mob storylines. Bring back the Q's, Ned and throw in a good hospital storyline with Phiffy ruling the roost! I hated that they killed of ALan - but his ghost with Tracy is an absolute hoot so I say, keep at that one! GH needs a bit of fun instead of all the shootings and killings and all. Play up Lucky and Mac and even that one officer guy - Ramierz or whatever - cute guy to boot! But it certainly is time for a change!

I like your ideas except the ones with Sonny being with Carly and Jax being with Kate. I would love to see Jason and Elizabeth and the kids becoming the family Monica needs right now. It would be a huge change for all and it would keep Monica on the show. We are running out of Q's. I really like the Diane and Max storyline. I would like to see if the relationship between Nick and Nadine goes anywhere. I'd like them to do something with Sam or cut her loose. The same with Cassiuss. And I would like to see them bring some of the cast members who have been story deprived be able to show what they and their characters can do.

I didn't say I wanted Carly and Sonny back together I said I see it coming. I would rather them not together. I think Carly needs to be on her own for a while. As for Jax and Kate I would like to see them together as they would be the "good" couple. By good I mean not another mob couple.

I'm with you guys. Bring back the Q's and give us a break from Sonny and Carly. And PLEASE give us more Max and Dianne! Those two are fabulous! And spenillie nad Maxie - I don't care much for her, but with him, that duo is hilarious!

I agree with you about the Sonny show. It's old news and repeats. I too would hate to see Seve Burton go. I am hoping that GH takes this opportunity to change the storyline enough to get him to stay. I am not a fan of Elizabeth but perhaps they can change the story enough to make her more interesting too. I'm hoping that GH sees that Jason is a bigger audience draw then Sonny & Carly.

Yeah, it's more like the Sonny and Carly Show - (Cher is really mad about that!) Give us a break. Word has it that Stever burton is leaving cause of his commute to work every day. Thing is I don't see him geting a job elsewhere - he is to typecast as Jason to do anything else....sad but true. So film his days differently but keep him. He is kind of the corner stone of the show..part in the Corinthos and part in the Q's. TRhat whole storyline of the mob kingdom I think is slowly falling apart and wearing out it's welcome.

I think they overplayed the mob stuff. In the beginning with Frank Smith, it was cool, but over the past few years with psycho Faith, such a reckless fool, how did she stay alive so long?

Oh like we didn't see this one coming from the moment they split up! It always goes back to Sonny and Carly. I am bored to death over them.

I've like Elizabeth from when she first came on the show, but I agree she isn't that interesting. But I think Jason has all the excitment he can handle, maybe he needs a little boredom. I like them together. The first time they were together I didn't like them, I was still yearning for her and Lucky to be thogether, but Lucky turned out to be such an a$$hole.

I think Jason is a major audience draw, how could you not love him? He is always cool headed and logical, and even though he's a hit-man, he's very sweet. Loving and loyal to those he loves. I think he's the best character they got.
I'd hate to lose him.
