customer service please continue to hold

I hate calls like that! And then what is worse is when someone finally picks up and you think "yes! i'm finally through!" and then that person tells you to hold yet again! I usually try to avoid making those calls. if they have a website address where i can find out what i need to, i will just check the website instead. and i hate the automated phone calls too, where they call you and you answer to a computer voice telling you to please hold, then a real person finally gets on.

Oh how I hate calling "customer service." It takes forever to get the menu. Then there is never an option to talk to an actual human being. Then you have to put in your account information (which they only ask for later because inputting it in the beginning has nothing to do with who it is routed to). Then you wait on hold forever. The worst is when the message tells you that you can find the answer to your question on their website. Well, no I can't. If I couldn't I would not be wasting my bloody time calling. Oh, by the time someone picks up I am so mad I can barely be civil to get my question answered.

It's doesn't matter when you call either. You are hold forever whether your call first thing in the morning, middle of the day, late afternoon, middle of the night. the wait is the same.

Hire more customer service reps and get me a person NOW.

Yes customer services are very good at making you wait, I absolutely hate it when I have to phone anywhere that I know I have to deal with customer services. I always make sure I have plenty of time to allow for how long I will be on the phone for before I actually get to speak to a human being. But I never give up, I always hang on to my place in the phone queue until the bitter end!!

Hi mooch! Yes, I do sometimes call customer service and most often, I have always been put to hold or an answering machine will be on the other line prompting to press #1, then press, #6, then prompt you press another number..it seems endless then I will be put on hold after a few seconds talking to a real person. Really annoying!

mooch,i swear to god i've fallen asleep at the desk waiting for customer service to pick up.i hate calling the electric company in particular,i think they try to make you give up on purpose.
or even worse,it automatically cuts you off after 45 minutes.

I always dread those call centers, it always seems to be more trouble then it should be. Especially when it is a forgien guy on the phone and I have to have him repeat everything 2 or 3 times to understand what he is saying.

Think the emoticon here says it all! This happens all the time here - I isially just press the button that says I am making a payment or placing an order - that way at least you have more of a chance of getting answered quicker - and it is amazing how quickly they make sure that they put you through to the right person to deal with you! I hate having to do it that way but I refuse to wait an hour to be answered on a phone call! xxx

yup and have been on hold for over an hour some times I put phone on speaker and go about what I have too.

Yes! Ugh! I feel your pain. I have had to hold for customer service, in the past for 1 hour and a half and then, they cut me off. The line dropped. And, it wasn't my fault because it was a landline to landline call so, it wasn't like my cell dropped the call. It just dropped. That was an hour and a half with my ear on the phone waiting for customer service to pick up and, they hung the fedging phone up on me! I was beyond livid. Oddly enough though, that was several years ago and, while I can remember how long I was on the phone, I can't even remember the company I was on hold waiting for. LOL!

Dang, that's one of the most hair raising annoyances to have to deal with. It happens constantly, unfortunately there's no way to avoid being on long hold when you need to get action and the problem resolved. Just have to bear it and grin..;)
