I do believe that she goes to people's houses to help them. What we see on television is probably only a small part of what actually happens.

Small changes in the way you parent can actually make a huge difference.

I'm sure it's not a completely accurate picture of what truly goes on. In a lot of the cases these children simply have had zero discipline and she forces the parents to take on their proper roles. I think it's real, just not exactly as accurate as they portray.

I do think that the cases are real (although some of them are unbelievable!) I do think the programmes have probably a lot cut out. Most of the time it's the parents that are at fault, so changing their behaviour will have a knock on effect. Children are like sponges and will believe most things that are told to them, it's the same for correctional behaviour. If they are treated differently they will adapt. How successful they are after the nanny figure has left remains to be seen, but I do think a little retraining can and would help.
