How can I find the Ponderosa tapes to view?
Will they work on dialup if you're patient enough for them to load?

On the top right side, there is a banner that says: Ponderosa. Click on that banner and it will take you to where they play the videos.

I have DSL and I have a hard time watching them as they start and stop. I also have an older computer, so that could be part of the problem. I don't think you can pause them and let them load, I think they stream direct. So, I don't know how good they would be if you used dial-up.

Thank you, I'll give it a try. FYI, I doubt it is your old computer that doesn't allow smooth video watching. More likely your slow dial up like mine. But on the other hand, how does it handle You Tube loads? Will they load slowly, but then play ok? If so, it is just your dial up for sure. Thanks again.

I actually have DSL, but my graphics card is not compatible for a lot of video programs. Mostly, I can watch videos, but sometimes they stop or freeze.

Oh, I always get that wrong, I thought DSL meant dial-up. I sometimes wonder if they will ever offer high speed here. Each year they promise "next year" for sure. Even the government contributed a few million dollars to upgrade the area phone lines to allow high-speed modems to work properly, but surprise.....the funds have 'mysteriously' gone missing and no one can account for them. So of course, the upgrades never happened, and the little guy is left out in the cold.....slow....and little..:(
