Vista or XP?  |

 A lot of people have been telling me that window's XP works better and faster than Vista but I know how Xp works and am thinking of upgrading to vista . What would you recommend?

if you want upgrade to Vista just keep in min d.. you must have 2GB ram in your pc and the process speed must be atleast 1.7 ghz
other wise your system is going to hell in vista

4.  elsoft12 (464) | 3 months ago |  Right now,I think Windows XP is an advanatge..as most of the support for other addon softwares for daily use are still in transistion.And you require much less hardware.
However Vista is a Future OS for sure.It has a great GUI.And Once you experince it..its difficult to use XP again.
However,Vista needs some time still to really take over XP.

| 6. xplp211 (105) | 3 months ago |  My computer has installed windows vista. But after using, there is too many things for it to run that the reaction speed is much slower than XP. So I installed back to XP. But there is still some problems. Because the computer is designed for vista, so the speed for starting a programm or run a exe software is still slower than in XP. And you need at least 2G ram to run the vista smoothly, or you will become crazy to run vista in a 512M ram.
