SHEEP have no BRAINS. | | Some time back my daughter came to me as we were shearing the sheep. The Shearer was a talky type fellow and got talking to the daughter (about 8 y/o). The shearer asked the daughter what she thought about SHEEP. She informed him "All sheep are dumb BastXXds they have no BRAINS Taken back on this as we all know shearers know swear word we all have never heard of. When he gained his breath he asked the Girl how she knew this, She said well, when they go to the dam for a drink they fall in and drown, and when it rains, they stand in it and get all wet, then later the get bogged in the mud and you have to pull them out, and if one of them runs they all run behind each other, and if one goes through the hole in the fence they all will go the through the hole in the fence, Them sheep have no Brains, The only good thing about them is EATING them on Sunday as a ROAST. All them SHEEP are Dumb BASTXXXS. (Sorry had no DUMB SHEEP pictures, must have eaten them all.)

That market is long gone now, but I still remember the great prices and unusual cuts of meat one was able to find there.

My grandpa raised cattle so he certainly wouldn't like your sheep! Is it true that there were quite a few feuds in your country with cattlemen against sheep herders?

The clippers I have don't work real well, I have to work WAY too hard to use them. I love lamb and mutton! I rarely can find it in the market, only in the spring when they have lamb. I would like to buy lamb from a sheep farmer who gave the sheep a good life and used more humane slaughtering practices. Don't they use lamb stomaches or something like that, to make certain cheese with? Or was that whole story just a joke and you've never shorn a sheep in your life? Hehehehe.

hiccup (3712) | 3 months ago | I've use shears to sear the sheep but thats a hard job, thats the reason I got the shearer to come and do the job for me. What he used was the broad comb, from New Zealand. just like a small set of hedge clippers with those open teeth. I think you migh be confused with the sheep stomach (bag), some tribes use to use it to store milk in it, and in travel a form of cheese (butter)would happen from movement. Is it the Scots who use the stomach bag for the casing og haggis. (something not related I cant find my spell check, not that helps much, maybe I need to sign into mylot to get it, as Im just in my e-mails, and have not entered mylot in the normal way.Ill try that and see if I get the spell check up_

zigzagbuddha (992) | 3 months ago | I use big scissors to snip him down, but then I like to take it down to just a little bit above the skin. I think my clippers are dull. I wonder if you can have them sharpened or something. It's rennet I was thinking of and that comes from the lining of a calves stomach.

I wonder what she'd think about those? I think we tend to forget that children have ears when we're talking amoungst ourselves.

hiccup (3712) | 4 weeks ago | With Respect, Do the American People understand History. When a Man's grand father was the banker for Hitler. And his father sat at the table and broke bread many times with Laden's. And your mate (vice PRES) owns and makes War machines I would think the writing is on the WALL, DON'T GO THERE. But the American People did. If we forget HISTORY, HISTORY will bite US again and Harder. America needs to stop being the watch dog of the world, it's not working only against them.
