I wish to educate myself on this word, what I know and wish some of your share your knowledge, to make meaning to understand, in order to take counter-action. I think:
Phishing: While managing accounts on the internet, we should be used to know about this word. Phishing is a common term used to describe online fraud. It literally means laying of a trap . Phishers use e-mail Or malicious websites to solicit personal often financial information. Attackers may send an e-mail seemingly from reputed credit card company or financial institution that request account information They use this information to access accounts. Be very careful in opening all secrets of your account. Examine its legitimate source. Avoid such things.

It's good to know one word added to our vocabulary of words. Truly, phishing is one of the problems in the internet today. I hope that those involved with this phishing will just go fishing.

I am surprise actually after reading the history of "phishing", it still is very much alive today and more stealthier victimizing unsuspecting internet users. Awareness my friend with this things is our best defense. You are right in pointing out its modus operandi, we should discreetly check mails and websites even in our trusted sites.
