What is your relationship like with your mom?

I had a difficult relationship with my mother for years because she had little patience and snapped at us kids regularly. We seemed to always be bumping heads over my clothes, my friends, my interests...anything that I liked she didn't. Years later she retired and became a more relaxed, mellow person. Because I was older and had more self confidence our relationship changed and I can honestly say that I enjoy her company. I don't get to see her too often because she and my father live far away but we talk on the phone and email each other regularly.

I worship her.

My relationship to my mom? I could tell, it was fine and still okay now that I am half of the world far away from her I could still feel and tell that she really loves me and cares for me. Althought for so many years i haven't shown her what i truely felt for her deep inside my heart and thought she is the best. There was a time i treated her bad and saying things that hurts her unintentionally but she still shows that she is always be in my side. Do and sacrifice things for me. She might be mean sometimes, but it has a good reason why she should be

Well, sisterjinx I had agreat relationship with my mom, she was my best friend...she died when i was 18 and I have never been the same. For this reason, I do not like to celebrate mother's day because she died the day after.

Oh it's cool. She's the best mother ever. Though she has some negative attitude but it's due to her high blood illness. I love her so much. I care about her all the time. I buy her her favorite stuff and never forget to give her gifts especially on mother's day or her birthday.

She's the kind of mother that you can tell your secrets. I actually tell her my crushes and my admirers and we would make fun of it. hehehe..

Oops, suppose I should have saved my mother rant for this discussion:D.
Ok, well.... my current relationship with my mother doesn't exist. Haven't spoken to my real mother in about 3 years.
The last time I spoke to my mother I was trying to adopt my little sister, who was about 9 or 10 at the time, until I found out my sister was a thief who was beyond my help. She needed serious mental help that I really couldn't afford to give her. Some of her bad habits rubbed off on my kids unfortunatly. Well, anyways, my husband caught her stealing, and yelled at her, and my mother turned around and insulted him. So I told her to take a hike and haven't spoken to her since.
By the way, my mother and I had already had a really bad relationship prior to this, that was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

i think my relationship with my mum is very close and good, infact she is all that matters to me in this world, i lost my dad when i was two now am 20, she was with me all these years.

I actually have a really good relationship with my mother. We have had our ups and downs, and I have had to set some mother-daugher boundaries, but on the whole, mom and I have an excellent relationship!!

well i consider my mom as my bestfriend, she's the kind of mom that i could trust my secrets with. she knows everything about me cuz i never kept secrets from her. i never had any difficulty with my relationship to her.

my mom and i used to have a love-hate relationship but we're better now! in fact, i consider her as one of my best friends now!=)
