no Obama/Edwards ticket | | With the endorsement of Edwards, one had to wonder if there was going to be an Obama/Edwards tickent, but John Edwards has flatly refused to seek election as a VP, and the speculation remains on who Obama will choose for his VP rinning mate, while Hillary may say she would take the chance, I truly don't see it happening, While saying no to a VP, he refused to speculate on a place in Obama's cabinet.... I have no idea now who Obama will choose but it would make sense to choos a strong candidate in a state that he ran low in, and one of the names tossed out was Rendell, Governor of PA. Who do you think Obama will choose as a running mate, assuming that things go the way of him getting the nomination Here is the article that gave me the inspiration for this post http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/ Mooch

They will have to look at all the candidates strenghts and weaknesses to decide who would make the best vp.

| | 3. jormins (841) | 3 months ago | I love Edwards as our next Attorney General. While I think Rendell has the VP slot in the bag as he helps on so many facets where Obama is not the strongest. But I would love to see Republicans Chuck Hagel & Colin Powell and Democrats Bill Richardson and Claire McCaskill named to Obama's cabinet. I don't know if its normal to do but I'd name the entire proposed cabinet before the general election.

Another one they're talking about this very moment on MSNBC is Senator Jim Webb from Virginia. Richardson has also been mentioned quite a bit. I think any of them and probably any number of others would be good but he's got to take so many different things into consideration I don't expect him to rush into making a choice to quickly. I do expect Edwards to have some position in an Obama Administration and I have to agree with Jormins that Attorney General would be a great choice. Annie
