1. edgyk8inmomma (851) | 3 months ago | Most of the people close to me say I am too hard on myself. I find it much easier to criticize myself rather than others. I know what's inside my mind, but I don't know what's behind the words or actions of most others. So I find it wrong to criticize them.

edgyk8inmomma (851) | 3 months ago | Yes, on a repeatedbasis. I am usually the first to admit my faults. I think its bad tho. I sholdn't do it as often, and that's something I'm working on. by the way, you can call me edgy...its a lot shorter:)

2. dpk262006 (4772) | 3 months ago | Sweet, I know what are my negative traits and I try to remove them, whenever possible, I analyse them when I am alone. If I commit any mistake, I readily admit it, knowing that mistakes do occur in life. It is difficult to directly critize oneself, that would be termed as inferiority complex and one's under-estimation.

5. kalav56 (694) | 2 months ago | I criticise myself more than what I criticise others . When we point one finger at another person three fingers are pointing towards our own chests[this is a famous maxim] I hate criticising others and generally go with the policy of'each to one's own', but when I hear people criticising me or anyone else within my hearing I get a bit irritated. But one thing that I have learned is to be analytical but never voice MY loud thinking[this gives smart people the opportunity to ride rough shod over you] Many people do not have the heart to criticise themselves but when the other person is doing some honest loud thinking they seize upon the opportunity to shift the blame on to others or make smart supercilious remarks. That is why our self analysis and criticism should be within our closest circle and not to all and sundry because it is construed as a weakness and all people would dish out free advice.
