Does your partner fight you when you try to help?

Men are like that...no offense to the men out there but you know how you are. My husband is the same way. I get snapped at when I try to help him do things on the computer so I don't offer to help anymore. I will help if he asks but even then I get snapped at because he is frustrated. You can't have the baby flopping around in an unsafe car seat tho so I think your solution is a good one. In the meantime, don't offer to put your head in the lion's mouth by offering to help your husband unless you feel it's something important. Just let him do it his way and go back and do it the right way later.

LOL...Didnt you know, males know everything and cant be told otherwise...Its just a guy thing, they cant get it through their heads that we may just be right most of the time. I gave up a long time ago, Glad your taking it to get installed properly, I would do the same..

I have the same problem with my bf.
He feels s if he's mr. fix it. He doesn't want advice from anyone when he thinks he has it under controle, he especially hates it when i ask him to fix something, and i point out things he's doing wrong he'll say "since you know so much do it yourself" so i just step aside and let the pro handle it lol.

It seems to me that I am the one that gets frustrated when anyone tries to help me. I hate when people try to help me and I hate when anyone steps in unless I ask for help. I like trying to figure things out on my own. I'm use to doing things on my own anyway so I don't like having help unless I really need it.

Hi. Yes, often when hubby and I are trying to put something together, we end up arguing. I have to realize that sometimes I don't know what I am talking about. lol
