HOW FAST have you gone in a CAR? |
|
Some time back I drove a car at 100 MPH (160KmPH)I was on a good road, I had a good car, light was right, traffic was OK. A cop pulls me over and I get a ticket, even the COP said all was OK, but he had a slow night and needed some ticket to show the Boss. Near the same time I was a passenger of a Car that did 125MPH (200KmPH). Same story but no COP this time. Both were great rides, very safe, and no fear, one could say a perfect drive. Now how it is Ill have to pay if I want that speed,Ill need to go to a track and hire a car that can do that speed or faster. Any stories comming back at me here, Im sure you have one to tell em.

1. mimico (781) | 3 months ago | Have you tried go karting? I did a few months ago and it was awesome! I didn't know how fast I went though but it seemed really fast to me! Anyway, when I drive I usually keep my speed somewhere between 40-60kmp, which is actually a bit slow. I find that when I go faster, I get scared of losing control of the car.:( The fastest I've gone is 100 kmp when there wasn't any traffic and the road was slightly downhill.

Justme2007 (1364) | 3 months ago | I did 120 on the highway in a car and 100 in a truck on a back road. Eventhough speed kill it was fun and I had no police near so I didn't get a ticket and it gave me a rush! Plus I would rather do a fast drive then a fast drug lol

4. GreenMoo (1730) | 3 months ago | I was bought a track day once as a gift, which is probably when I've travelled fastest in a car. I wasn't allowed to drive it then though, which was a bit of a bummer. When I was young and had money to burn, I had a whole series of sporty cars and a very heavy right foot. there was a particular stretch that I had to pass every day on my way to work. It was a stretch of hill, going off a roundabout. Each morning I used to challenge myself to see if I could hit 100mph before I reached the top.

8. smartbrain69 (2165) | 3 months ago | I have drove my car at 120 km per hour speed, but is not advisiable to drive at high speed as it is equally risky and dangerous to drive.

| 10. msjennyk (30) | 3 months ago | The fastest speed in a car 135mph. It was a long time ago back in the age of muscle cars. Of course I'm older now and have more sense. The fastest speed in a truck (tractor/trailer) was over 125mph. Again when I was younger. I have thought about driving on the autobaun in Europe, that would be great, no speed limits.

hiccup (3720) | 3 months ago | Its silly you and I have driven cars over 100MPH (160KmPH) We drove on roads as they were 40 years ago, no mags, plain rubber ply tires with tubes. The you look today, the roads, tyres, mags, everything that opens and shuts to make a car SAFE and what do they do Fall off the ROAD at 60kph, and kill them selves. Are our roads, cars safer I dont think so. All the cars are plastic, no protection, give me an OLD car any day over the modern new ones.
