"People will mow you down with no regard for whether or not you are alive when they are done." It isn't only the customers, it's the employees too D. I can say that if I have to sacrific my time and go into this store, I'll do it only during the "busy" hours or with another person. It's not only dangerous from the cart perspectives, it's not safe at night either. NOPE, I hate walmart, can't stand them.

I think that it might be a good idea for someone to be required to walk in front of the scooters and warn other shoppers of the approaching scooter.

Here in the USA, many of our larger stores have little scooters for their customers. They are electric and function much as an electric wheelchair, but don't look like a wheelchair at all, but like a little scooter.

Anyone who walks in the door can comandeer one of these things.

Ah, I finally found it on Google, interesting. I thought it was something for store employees, not for customers. We don't have them here, at least I haven't seen any, even in the biggest market (E.LECLERC) in the city. We only get trolleys, and aisles can't have more than two trolleys in a row, not more than three anyway!

It was a close shave, Goodie. It was not the first time in recent weeks that I have feared for my life, but I hope that it's the last. Fortunately, I was quick on my feet and avoided a tragedy.

I thought that was funny that D was attempting to appear 'normal'. She couldn't pull it off, though.
