I wish I felt the same about fast food. It's most likely healthier to go hungry than to eat at most of them, and in theory I know that. In actuality, though....I go way too often and pay the price later.

I can stop in any store and buy one apple instead of buying in fast food...is healthier and it is cheaper anyway.

As a person suffering with migraine headaches I have also created my food migraine triggers and and food additive migraine triggers.
I know that you have headaches too, so be very careful with fast food.

I know you're right, I need to be more careful of what I consume. I have another friend who gets migraines from many kinds of foods. I wouldn't be surprised if that had a lot to do with my headaches.

I agree, kitty. I don't know of the rumor about Starbucks is true. It was from a mass email. I hope not, and with all they do for charities and underprivelaged, I cannot imagine it would be true, but I'm not sure. I guess I should do some research on it.

I love Target.

I agree, any bad experience will usually wipe a place off my list quickly. Sometimes I'll give them a chance again after a while, but not always.

I like Supertarget. I buy all of my laundry supply in Target.

I often do my grocery shopping in Supertarget.

That's a really good point, Palmerhusky. I had an experience like that when I was looking for a job a few years ago. I was applying to an employment agency to be a recruiter for them, and the person who interviewed me was quite rude. I went right across the street to another agency and got the job with them and proceeded to make my thoughts known about the other agency whenever my opinion was asked.

Oh, I remember those commercials. They were like little trolls or something. You are not the only one who felt that way, apparently.

Trans I just have to know. I ate at a subway a few weeks back that the employees didn't wear those plastic gloves. Could you, would you? What if they went on break and everyone got their gloves mixed up and they weren't wearing their original pair?

LOL - a funny to you my dear on this one, but I get grossed out when they build your sandwich and don't wear gloves. I love subway because you SEE them building your sandwich instead of who knows what happens back in the kitchen at fast food places. Ya know?

LJ, excellent point! That's one of the reasons I do like Subway, is because I don't have to question the prep methods and I love those gloves they wear.

I have never had any luck at any Family Dollar, Apriljess. The Dollar Trees aren't too bad, but for the most part Family Dollar is much worse in all aspects.

I used to be one, pye, and I turned back in to a carnivore for many reasons, but I'm always on the brink of not eating meat it seems. I wish I could stay out of the FF places, as I know that you're right 100%. Cravings and laziness rule with me lately, though.

I'm not sure really...I'm guessing they got some bad press for some business practice that she got wind of and now she's protesting. My guess is it's something overseas.

All the butcher has to do is sell good meat, and he can't do that right? He's in the wrong profession, I must say.
