Do you think IT jobs are so bad?

IT has its pros and cons but mostly its all 'pros'.

What's the point in 'working hard' when you haven't the basic training or knowledge?

First learn and work hard to acquire knowledge.

No,IT jobs are not bad,but only problem is the job security.It is very difficult to get an IT job in government sector.90 percent of the IT job providers are from private companies only.At any moment they can terminate from the job without any prior notification.

I think that jobs are very hard to get today and are very few. So if someone finds a job they should take it. And work hard to keep it.

Well IT jobs are something which attracts every one cause of the pay scales and luxury they enjoy. At the same time the kind of work and worth we get to the company is also a big thing. I dont think IT jobs are bad and a farmer can get into it. Even an IT professional can quit a job and buy land and start cultivation, but the fact is to see how succesfull one is.

Yeah i do agree IT professionals are paid well and at the same time they do work hard and proove their worth. There is no point in saying that IT jobs dont have a future. When he thinks that anybody can join IT jobs it means that there are still openings and there is huge demand for IP ppl. Well even though we get paid few cents here arent we working hard on mylot? same is every where you go.

Now a days IT people are being earning much more than other field, thats true.

Also, if you join the course in a reputed coleges, you will get the job even in their prior to the final year, through a Campus interview, if he/she is good in the subject.

and also, i agree that its not easy to get the Non-IT people get into the job.

But its not easy that the former can come and join in the IT and earn lacs and lacs, but the guy who cames from the Farmer background, study well in the field of IT and come to the IT industry become well in the IT industry.

And also i dont think that the boom in the IT industry for the past 3 years, will not be in the same up trend int he subsequent years.. because it has reached a level now..

And also i would like to inform you at this point of time one more thing, recently the frontline company has sent out from the job more than 2000 people those who are in their just below of 2 years of his experience in the company. what about the fate of them, out of which 1500 people still searching the better job, only 500 has been joined in several other companies with the help of their friends, in the same lines.

I don't think IT jobs are bad at all. I think they pay very well and they are in high demand also. You have to have a college education to be an IT professional. Those IT people do have to work hard but it shouldn't be any harder than a normal job would be. they have to use their brain and knowledge alot more though.

When ever you hard work you will be reward.no matter if you reward late or first.I think Man should work GOD will help him its not our tension what will happened in future let it leave on GOD. Hard work never worthless.

No it's not, its the way of the future now. Everything seems to be heading towards IT related stuff especially with all the gadgets coming out these days. My husband is in IT and he has ample opportunity to venture all over the world in IT related jobs. They are plentiful.

I don't think it's so easy to get into the IT industry, because it really is quite saturated with prospective IT professionals and is consequently very competitive.

It's probably a case where, like so many other things, who you know is more important than what you know. If you know someone in the industry, then it's probably a lot easier to get your foot in the door and score a job somewhere, but it's unlikely to be so easy for someone who has just got a brand new IT qualification gut has no prior experience.

IT...guys tell me please or explain what is "IT" or how it translates, I really wanted to answer on this discussion but I don't understand what is IT:)
