When you were a kid, did you wish u had a different name? What name did u want?

I used to write different names on my answer sheets in school and my teacher would scold me for doing that. lol. But that didn't stop me. I used to write Nicole, or Monica, or Mika. And lots more. lol. But I grew out of it at some point and started to accept that my name is CARA. I like Ella but I find it too common now a days. Rhys is cool. Very unique.:)

As for me I like my name, Inga. And never wanted to have another. My name is not typical for my country and all my friends always say that my name is unusual.

when i was a kid? nope, i didnt wish i have a different name because actually i dont even care about my name when i was a kid. lol..but when i was in high school, i was wishing to have a different name. there was one time when in my group of friends, we made a code name for each one of us, and i choose the name that i really wish i have, its gweenette mae..lol.. i dont know why but i just like that name. i also like stiff khryss. actually, im currently using that name as my email address..hehee. and im planning to give that name to my future daughter. heheh.

when i was a kid, every month, i liked a new name for me...except the one i have...
but my favorite girl's name for a long time is Tara...and i still like it...

I used to hate my name when I was a little kid.
I wondered why my parents gave me this name when there are lots
of better names they can give me. My name is Antoniette. As a kid,
10 letter-name is too long for me. While my cousin's name is Amy,
3 letters!

I always wanted to be named Vince. I have no idea why. I don't think I have ever actually known or met anyone named Vince.

My name is ok (Kelli), but when I was a kid, I too, liked Crystal. Ha. I would always name my Barbie dolls Crystal. Now I don't even like that name. After 25 years of having my name I guess I'm used to it and can't really picture myself having any other name.

I think I can relate to you. When I was young, I really have a strong dislike because many people seem to have different pronounciation/enunciation. Many times, I was mistaken for a muslim bec its so unique then. But as i grew up and learned of its meaning or the meaning my parents put to it when they gave me my name, I learned to like it. Now, I just smile and giggle when I hear someone mispronounces my name. Before, I though I was the only one, but now, many have followed it.

I think that's a nice name actually. Well, My name is Maria Angelica, kind of really old fashioned and common. When I was a kid, I want my name to be Marian or Nicole.
