Would you want to know if you were dying?

I don't think that I could handle such knowledge. Sure it would give me time to make final preparations and say goodbye to my family. I would definitely spend more time with my family. But, I don't need a death scare to make me do that. More than anything, I'd be sad and morose all the time. No fun. And, that's not the way I want my family to remember me.

Do you think you'd live your life more fully if you knew that you only had a few weeks or months to live? Or, would the knowledge simply burden you and make you feel depressed so that you didn't want to do anything?
