i also do not approve of what the girl did...but killing her is out of imagination..indeed very gruesome..i also wud try to keep her away frm him and protect her...afterall she would be my own flesh and blood...thanx for ur reply

i find it hard to believe such stories they r very harsh..in India still moral values r very high and children are expected to behave as per their parents desire....there is a law having any phys. relation with a minor (below 18yrs) with consent or without consent is considerd crime....so even law doesnt consider this right...but wt the parents did they shud b hung...

hi jonesy India is changing with times...but we r still trying hard to hold on to our culture and moral values...i married out of caste and community with our parents will....my cosin married a christian boy we being hindus that is accepted...my hubbys cousin fell in love with a pakistani muslim girl when studying abroad they had a beautiful wedding here in India all of us attended and danced and had fun...nowdays this is not a big issue....such instances happen normally in the uneducated lot...but this is shocking bcoz both parents are Doctors by profession..or maybe the girl was very young for all this...but such carnivorus acts are just not acceptable to the normal Indians...i totally agree with u they shud have tried other means of stopping the relationship....human mind is too complex to understand all this...thanx

I know that there are a lot of modern notions now in India, and I'm glad you and your family are more modernized in their thinking. Unfortunately, just there are still many traditionalists around. And no matter how well educated and in what area of the country they live, they will honor those traditions and moral values.

Even here in the US are families who have 'honor' killed a child for one reason or another. They have brought their beliefs with them when they immigrated to the US and some just simply refuse to adapt their morals and beliefs to their new country. And unfortunately there are too many countries in the world, where 'honor' killings are still a fact of life. And in some countries the parents will get away with this.

I know that Indian authorities will prosecute the parents in this case as the Indian government has been working hard on modernizing belief systems and to eradicate such ancient believe systems. And yes, it's surprising to find a doctor in Dehli do this instead of some farmer in some remote village. But that shows you can find traditionalists pretty much anywhere.

i fully agree they shud be electrocuted for such gruesome act...how can protectors become killers...no point spending govt. money to keep them alive in jail...a stern decision taken will send out a strong word to the public at large that such acts will b condemned.....thank u

this is actually very horrid..there are many ways this cud be handled...such grave steps taken by educated people set me thinking...wt is the point of their knowledge if they could not handle this...killers cant b life savers..how can they save someones life when they are so lowly in their outlook....i hope this spreads some awareness among people who still r very conservative in their thoughts and can think of such drastic steps...thanx 4 ur comments..

i agree Kal yug hai...but such things cannot b justified by kal yug also...there is hindi saying child can b bad to parents but parents can never b bad..anyway this is very sad..i agree with u doomsday might come not that i m looking forward fot it...have a nice day...r u in India? i fully agree with u...such acts are condemened by all cultures, communities and countries...i care hoots to such moral values if my child does this i find alternatives i wud scold and give spnking also and b very furious but not this...this is out of imagination...thank u for ur views...i hope people who have doubts that familys honor is everything and to whom such acts are acceptable read all these reviews and see how all detest them globally...

Here in this case, whatever reported by media is one side of story, we must listen both parties, then arrive at conclusion. First word from Dr Talwar happen to be declining. But, as I have my basics with 'Criminology and froensic sciences', I am doubtful if Dr Talwar is talking correctly. He is under covering-up the issue. Probably, he must have been noticed Or even Dr. talwar might have noticed Servant and Girl in compromising posture. Any story would be called best, if reader only gets finals from last word/page. So let's have patience to wait and watch.
