Do you think movies are sometimes rated wrong?  | |  I have seena few that I thnk could have been rated R or ones that were rated R and could have been pg 13 I wonder what they base that all on.

My 13 yr old son will rent a movie with a PG13 rating and I'll have to turn it off in the middle of it because I don't think he should be watching it. But, there are some rated R that I don't have any problem with him watching. Maybe they have a different idea of what offends parents (or anybody really).

| | 2.  jayperiod (688) | 2 years ago |  The ratings do seem a little odd at times. I have seen PG13 movies that I didn't want to see, let alone my thirteen year old children. I have seen some R movies that didn't seem as bad as some of those PG13s. I think each rating is based on what one person sees, rather than a set of standards. I know there are standards, maybe I just don't understand them.
