do you preffer: online,audio or printed books  

I can't stand online books.... it makes my eyes burn, but I can handle audio books especially when I am busy feeding my son or doing chores. It helps me pay attention to my surroundings and have fun at the same time, but of coarse the old fashioned way is the best to me. I just never have that much time to read books that way because I have such a busy lifestyle.

I so prefer to read printed books. Audio is nice but you don't get to hear the voices the way you would if you were just reading to yourself. And I can't stand to stare at the computer screen to try and read a book. It just isn't the same.

If I can have both printed and audio books, that's always a good thing. I prefer reading printed but as I started reading and I like what I read, it's hard for me to stop, so what usually happen is there are things I have got to do that is being left undone or set aside because you can't do other things while reading right? SO this is where the audio comes in, just put on the headset and there you go! But the downside of the audio is, most of the time, they are not as complete as the printed ones, (or atleast the ones i tried). I like ebooks too (I sell some), but then, like most of us complain about, it's not good for the eyes to stare at screen for a long period of time.

I am like you, when it comes to reading a novel, a real book is the best..Besides it is what I do before going to bed, it relaxes me enough to fall asleep quicker than if I wasn't reading..

It is depend on my time. If I have a lot of time so I prefer a printed books. Whenever in my online I always chat beside reads an article. Cheers

Hands down... printed. I have a hard time absorbing what I hear so I miss half of what is going on when I listen to books on tape. I don't like being restricted to sitting at the computer desk to read one online. I prefer snuggling up on the couch and cracking the pages of an old fashioned printed book.

i prefer printed books since i'm a bibliophile. ebooks are ok but my eyes hurt from being in front of the computer a long time and i think it's somewhat time consuming. whereas with printed books, you can put it donw for a while to let your eyes rest and get back to it anytime, even when you're in the comfort of your bed.

i prefer printed books coz i've got to read it at anytime i want and i get to read it over and over again.

i get busy all the time in a wekk. so its really difficult to take out some time and to sit on mylot or to read some thing else. so, i like books to read . because we can take them with our self to any place that's why its much better than any other one.

I totally agree with you. The tactile sensation of a book is great. The way it can smell. The way it looks.
Somehow e-books just cannot compare. But I tell you what, that even if you have one you can print out it still isn't the same. Yes it may be a little easier on the eyes. It doesn't take more time to open an e-book than a real one and go to the page you left off. So it's not a time thing. And these days with Kindle it's also not a matter of being able to take it along with you. It's just us being needy and greedy when it comes to "real" books. I bet that in a few years time we'll be considered dinosaurs for reading paper books and that everybody will be running around with their Kindles!
