|  Really, they did. They gave us a choice between a woman and a person of color. (I hope no one takes offense; I don't know what the politically acceptable term is.) What they should have done was to run a Black Woman. It has been my experience that a black woman won't take any crap from anyone! THAT'S the kind of leadership our country needs. (And yes, this is a serious discussion.) I'm not sure if Oprah would do the job, but Aretha Franklin? That woman would accomplish some sh!t, I'm telling you! So; seriously, who are some black women you think could run the country?

| |  I can't think of anyone, but if you find them and i agree with most of their policies i WILL vote for them. Because you are right i just can't see any self-respecting black woman letting anyone (husband or not ) humilitate her in front of the world and just smile and say i love him, she would have thrown his butt right out of the white house (even if he was the president)! And that is my problem with ms. clinton if she didn't stand up for herself how can she be trusted to stand up for our country? I am not trying to start a argument here.That is just the reason i can't vote for her but would have no problem voting for another woman.

| |  I can't think of her name.. she's on the Jenny Craig commercials now.. an actress and singer.. she's seems like a pretty tough cookie! Yes, Oprah's too mellow, too much of a peacenik.. She's very gracious, which is likely good for that job only part of the time. But Aretha! I think she could hold her own in those shark waters..

| |  Dr Phill, don't have the insight to understand people that teach bitterness and hate then have their children strap bombs on their bodies and go out and blow up a lot of innocent people all over the world.
But Barack Obama says he has lived in the middle east and he understands the minds of state terrorist groups like Hamas,and the leaders of Iran.
Maybe Obama is the man and he can get these people in the middle east to stop killing them selfs and other people,convincing them four thousand years of this behavior is just not at all acceptable.

| |  I would say Maya Angelou would be a good choice. She is educated and wonderful, I bet she can be as tough as she is nice. The world could use someone like her.
