if you-all have been wondering where that i have been today....  

thank you so much. i am so tired. my legs are so sore tonight. lol is that a sign that i am getting older? lol but yeah, it was well needed family time that we all got to spend today with each other. we didn't have to get onto the boys once today! yeah! they were little angels all day. and yeap, that first ride done me in for the day. it doesn't take much anymore for me and the rides, give me the splash park and i am a happy camper. lol thanks for responding.

your very welcome. yes, the day spent yesterday with my family was most needed time for me as well as both children. both boys were angels yesterday, and we didn't have to speak to them once at that. that makes the day go better also, when you have two lovely kids to spend the day with without having to get onto them for anything. they were perfect yesterday...one reason being, the ten year old knew that some of his 4th grade teachers would also be there at the park as well and i think that is why that neither of them acted out of line. lol and yes, that Family Pass was a good thing for all of us yesterday. the pass saved us $20.00 as we went into the park entrance. whoo hoo! yes, our kids get all kinds of things from the elementary school where that they go to school here, free fair tickets in the fall, free kids meals at different restaurants, and free ice cream cones at McDonalds. and yes, i couldn't avoid the soft serve ice cream cone yesterday. i did so much walking yesterday that i do not think that the ice cream is going to make me fat. do you? lol

yes we had a beautiful day yesterday going to the amusement park with the kids and also to the splash park that was in the same complex. and i hear ya about the ice cream, i do not eat it often, but when i seen everybody walking around yesterday afternoon with an ice cream cone, then i had to have one as well. lol you know?

hi my friend you misunderstood that comment because of the diet and the ice cream. I wanted to say it is good that you tossed that diet aside for that beautiful day and did what everyone did and ate what everyone else enjoyed. Theres always a tomorrow when one can get back to that diet. I can relate because I am diabetic and that means being careful with carbs. Most of the time I am strict but sometimes I am not. lol.

yes, we had a great day yesterday at the park and splash park and it was well needed time spent with each other as well. and i hear ya about the amusement park rides, i cannot handle them much anymore either, we rode the bob sleds when we first got there, and if the ride hadn't have went in the backwards motion, then i would have been fine, but i didn't get sick, but was nauseated (do not know how to spell that) and therefore didn't ride much the rest of the day. lol i cannot take the rides much anymore either so i'll just sit and wait on ya next time. haha lol and the seven year old rode the wooden coaster but the ten year old didn't want to ride it. but we had a beautiful day yesterday spending time together and yes, i was exhausted last night when we made it back home.

We go to Valleyfair Amusement Park near us with the grandsons. The price of admission also includes admission to the waterpark. It's an all day pass for like $30 for adults I think. It's not a small park either. It's fun. The biys sure love it. Espefcially the oldest as he is tall enought to ride the big boy coasters.

thanks for wondering where that i was at yesterday. lol i didn't have time to start a new discussion before we all left the house to go to the park yesterday so i started a new one when i got home last night and man was i tired at that. lol and i do not think that i have ever been to Kentucky Lake before. we live right close to Percy Priest Lake here in Nashville, and in a beautiful area of town. and same here, my mom and dad took us kids to beach bend park in the summer time every year. i think that the country music singer Ronnie Milsap used to own Beach Bend Park, but i do not know who owns the park now. it was nice yesterday too, wasn't too hot, it was just right outside weather wise. and i guess that we got your nice weather for the weekend, in the 80's here today and tomorrow.

We are having crazy weather here today. Thunder, lightening, sunny, storms again, sunny and now more rain. And it's a bit too cool for any pools to open but guess it will happen anyway. Our forecasters really goofed for the prediction for our weekend.

Glad you had a good time yesterday. I use to love taking the kids to 6 Flags and riding the rides with them.
