How to Shoot Digital Photos Effectively  | |  Here are some of my techniques:
1. Compose better pictures: use the rule of thirds. It is dividing your screen into nine equal parts and composing your subject off center within the invisible "divided" screen. This will created drama around your subject.
2. When taking digital photos of your baby or pets, zoom in closely as much as possible to show details of skin, fur or texture. It crops certain portion of the subject and enlarging them creates an interesting visual.
3. USe natural lighting (sun, lamps, moon) when ndoors if you shoot still life or portrait. It's like painting magically with a digital camera.
4. Compose your subjects with a scene, narrative or story, it sparks conversation. Shoot two different subjects together, shoot your subjects in action.
5. Try this technique: shoot below your eye level or around your waist without seeing, you'll be amazed at your composition!!!

| stbiii0 (54) | 2 years ago | You should still try to shoot in films! They are becoming rare nowadays that maybe they will become like "paintings" in the future which appreciate over time. It would also be better if you know how to develop and print them yourself, as it really gives them a personal and authentic touch.
Lomography and other toy cameras are gaining popular here in my country today. Most of the young generation are experimenting on different forms of photography. And that is cool because they try to integrate photography and design.
It's just too bad that some films and developing them in labs are quite that expensive as it becomes rare. More photolabs are going also digital. | |

| stbiii0 (54) | 2 years ago | Hmmm, yeah Photoshop can really enhance your photos well but you also need to have good photo from the start. Using photoshop can only alter colors, corrects blemishes or add depth, but not all can buy and have all the knowledge for the software. So the best thing the non-professional photographer/digital artist is to create and compose a better photo without really having to result in enhancements like Photoshop. Besides, sometimes a good photo just need to be simple and doesn't require enhancements.:-) | |

also, when using cameras to get amazing results, consider or find for the ones with higher megapixel. It's not pleasing to the eyes to see grainy photos.
