It Could Be Worse |
|
After talking with friends and reading the news and some of the topics here, I have come to realize something..... IT COULD BE WORSE!! I think we should all stop to count our blessings, no matter how small they might seem to you. I am alive and free (that's thanks to our vets) I have a place to live I have food and water I have electricity and running water I have clothes I am in fairly good health My marriage is doing fine I have all five of my senses working Our pets are happy and healthy Our boys are making it on their own We have a running vehicle I have some friends I can count on Those are just the ones off the top of my head. I have been down for awhile....not being able to find work a big part of that. Some people don't have the things I have. I am grateful I at least have those. I just thought I should think of the things I DO have, rather than what I don't. Maybe give someone else a new way of seeing their life. What are you grateful for?

1. learn2earn (1020) | 4 months ago | As I was reading your post, I think that you might have written it incorrectly. You have written that we should all stop to count our blessings. I think I got it wrong. Why do we stop to count our blessings when we can actually count our blessings one by one. It might have been better if we pause in what we are doing and start counting our blessings instead of complaining! I might misunderstood you, I'm sorry!

Strongheart (198) | 4 months ago | Learn2earn, the topic is written very well and points out that we should stop looking at what we don't have and be thankful for what we do have because we could always have less than we already have unless of course we have nothing in which case we couldn't have less.

Everyone is welcome at myLot, we have users from all around the world and they are welcome regardless of their proficiency with the English Language. "

We all have God to thank for what is brought to us each day, and even when things are not the Best if we continue to be Thankful and think positively good things will come, and it will be worth it all the more.
