Canon or Nikon?

I would go with Nikon. Nikon makes some really good Digital SLRs that produce amazing photos. The Nikon Coolpix is very simple to use too if you aren't looking for something too complicated.

I think CANON is better than nikon. they have better features and service. I am looking for more mylotters to respond. I am also having problem in choosing camera between them. HOw is sony? does any one tell how good is this for a digital camera?

I personally like Nikon Better. I think it has more of the features that work for me.

Nikon is more Expenisve as the Finest Optics are Used & Parts are more Pricey to get to Repair.Years ago Nikon was the Top Brand for Photographers to Use. A Nikon F1 SLR Camera is a Valuable Collectors Camera to Own. Cannon is more Consumer Friendy in a Camera & not so Pricey to Buy & Great Quality to.

I think the NIkon and Canon DSLR are about equally priced now both expensive but or a couple thousand you can get the newest and latest model of either brand.

But the Nikon D300, I have read from both Nikon and Canon users, and top reviewers, that the Nikon outclassed the Canon on almost every front, and that aided my decision in buying a DSLR.

I have posted pictures this past week in this topic of pictures I have taken, most have been resized, but I have NOT retouched anything I have taken.

nikon all the way. The reason they have so few service centers is because their cameras rarely need any service!
