Today is the Anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Everest

oh my gosh no! i cannot ever imagine ever climbing a mountain like that. sh**, i can barely handle the stairs in my house on a daily basis anymore, less think i could climb a mountain like that. lol you know? when i am doing laundry during the afternoons here, i think to myself, oh heck, i have to go down the stairs again and then back up them. some days i make a game out of it, seeing how fast that i can make it back up the stairs. lol and no, i would not ever attempt to climb any mountain, anytime, or anywhere at that. lol you want me to put my leg where? don't think i can do that! lol you know? and i hear ya, if i was into mountain climbing like that, i would pass out if i seen a dead person along the way. lol no thank you. i will pass on the mountain climbing lesson for the day.

It would sort of fun to try it.
I remeber the big news when that first person made it to the top and for along time I knew the name of that person but alas have forgot it now.
I was about 15 when it happened

I have no interest in climbing a big, big rock to the top. I like the ground under my feet here. I like risks in make believe and I take a risk everytime I get on my horse. That's enough thrill for me. Except for the fun I have here. And my goofy antics, too, sometimes.

But, FYI, I just read in the newspaper here, that we happen to have the youngest woman in our town that climed Mt. Everst with her family. 20 yrs old.

well you have to be a trained mountain climber to do mount everest and neither of us are so we would never be able to it from that perspective,

and no it wouldn't interested me to climb any mountain.
