Has everyone forgotten?  |

 After the attacks in New York, everyone joined together and supported everyone else. This country was a difference place at one time. Now, it seems everything is back to normal. But not all for good. People no longer support each other as they did. All that has gone away. It's only thought of now as something that caused a war. No one thinks of the people who lost their lives or the families that still suffer to this day. No one thinks of the firemen, rescue people or local citizens who are now sick or died from illness caused from breathing the air. It seems all of it is forgotten. It's not something people like to think about, true but every now and then it would be nice to say a little silent prayer to those who haven't forgot.

It makes me sad how people just don't think about the right things anymore. If you smile at someone, it's more likely to scare them than to return a smile...you know what I mean. | |

| taface412 (1986) | 2 years ago |  I know what you mean, but if you let that stop you then you have become one of those people who are bitter and just down right horrible I think....I still smile at people if my mind is not elsewhere....I tend to think too much LOL.
But I say prayers every night...and I do believe everything happens for a reason, and I think we are not allowed the capacity to comprehend it all because it would be too much for us...so we learn one valuable lesson at a time....wow that was pretty serious thinking there.
I like to think that if you can touch one person in your life and they become a better person than you are blessed.

2.  marchgale (157) | 2 years ago |  I don't think we can ever forget.But you know how things get with time.And at present I think alot of people are worrying about the way their daily lives are being affected by the war.
However the price of life is much greater that the cost of gas and food.
Yes we should all be praying for those unfortunate ones from 911 and all over the world in times since.

Some of us still put a toy firetruck adorned with an American flag in the front window every September. Some of us still pray and think about and worry about all those affected....

I also feel that we are setting ourselves up for another fall. It is only a matter of time before we are attacked again, and I am pretty sure that next time will be worse than 9/11.
