What's the last big thing you messed up?  | |  Last week, I messed up one of my spouse's white shirts in the laundry, because I forgot to check the pockets. Turns out he'd left a tea bag in his shirt pocket. Now, the shirt is tea dyed! I'm lucky that it didn't mess up everything in the laundry that day. But, that's a rarity. I'm usually good at the little things. It was just a slip up. My other big mess up was on my blog.
This morning I put up a pic that stretched my blog way out of proportion. It looked hideous. I couldn't get that thing down fast enough. One other time I clicked the save button too soon when I was editing my home page and erased it. I had to track down the original page in google and get a copy. It took me a very long time to recover from that mistake.
What's the last thing that you did that was a huge mistake? Did you recover from the mistake or are you still having to pay?

Geez, I right now I can't even remember the last mistake I made. lol I think though it was trusting a premade cookie mix. Totally not a good idea on my part. There was so much baking soda it make an antacid cry. That was a mistake I'm never going to make again.

| | 2.  carlaabt (3164) | 2 years ago |  I made a cooking mistake yesterday. I made pancakes, because my toddler kept asking for them for a couple of days. But I used a skillet that I don't normally use, because I was too lazy to wash the one I prefer (I had used it earlier in the day). Anyway, I didn't add enough oil to my skillet, and got the first pancake stuck. Then the next one fell apart. I was getting really frustrated, and had just decided I would never make pancakes again. Then the rest of the pancakes turned out perfect!
