Aww, yes! I haven't been around a baby lately but I know what you mean.

I don't mind all air fresheners (and don't use any in the car) but some I agree smell horrible. Processed smells are rarely good, especially when they just add to the odors rather than cover and/or eliminate them.

Yes!! I love the after-rain smell. Also, a freshly mowed grass smells really good... Hm, the burning leaves one is interesting. Any specific kind of leaves?

Lilacs, as I mentioned in another reply, I love those too.

Bread - any kind of bakery item smells delicious.

I don't care for spinach or pot either. (I'll add cigarettes to the list too)

I have some Nivea hand cream ("smooth indulgence") that I absolutely love! I agree, it smells pretty good, and works beautifully.

I completely agree about beer. I cannot stand the smell of any alcohol but beer is the worse.

I LOVE the smell of oranges! Delightful! I rarely go to the beach but actually prefer the sound to the smell of the beach.

Flowers don't really impress me. We have a lilac bush outside that smells really good, but other than that, I don't really care for flowers.

Corn flour? Can't say I've ever smelled that before.

I just recently stayed at a hotel that had citrus shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer, and WOW they smell good!

I just looked at the moisturizer, it says "Sicilian Red Orange Extracts."

I love the smell of freshly cut grass! I live in NY so that lovely smell is a nice reminder that winter (and snow!) is gone... at least for now!

I also love the smell of vanilla. Cinnamon is also really delicious (to smell and eat).

I prefer the smell of the man to the smell of his cologne but since I've never smelled drakkar noir cologne, I won't diss it!

I can unfortunately smell cigarettes very well. So if anyone smokes or did smoke in an area, I can smell it. It sickens me. I applaud anyone who quits, and it saddens me to see people continually pick up the addition. I don't see the appeal of it, so why even start?!

Hmm, gasoline when it rains? What about gasoline on a dry day? lol The smell certainly isn't appealing but I don't find it offensive either.

I don't eat chips, but I think I have an idea of why you don't care for Cheez Doodles. Artificial cheeses smell odd.

I agree about McDonalds. Burger King doesn't impress me either. I just don't care for fast food at all.

I also love the smell of fresh cut grass or...in the summer when the farmers are haying I love the smell of fresh cut hay/alfalfa...

Oddly...I hug my dad or my boyfriend and they usually have a desiel or oil smell to them from working on machinery and I find that smell comforting...safe.

Forgot about fish or tuna . I do eat it ,but dont like the smell . The smell will stay in the house too long and its hard to get out .

I do not disagree with you about raw fish! I don't know why anyone would enjoy that smell.

However, for bananas I gotta disagree. I just love the smell of them. And I also love banana bread, the smell and the taste. That's sweet that you would be willing to bake banana bread for someone even if you hate it that much!

Pine trees smell great, that sucks that you are allergic! :( Do you not use a real tree for the holidays then? (Or maybe you don't celebrate, I'm not trying to assume anything)?

I feel the same way about the others you mention, at least from popcorn to fresh laundry. I don't care for tea though.

Aw, that's sweet that machinery oil makes you feel safe because of who it reminds you of.

metschica25 - I eat fish too, but I HATE the smell. Tuna isn't as bad as haddock or salmon, I've found.

Christmas trees - we used to have real ones until my parents found out what was making me such a witch at christmas time. They found that out after i had to sleep in the same room as the tree and had itchy eyes runny nose etc from it the next day. Ever since then we dont have a real tree. I miss the going out to get it and all that from our pasture but we all enjoy christmas much much more without me being a big old grump pot ready to bite off anyones head who so much as breathes in my direction!

Aw, that really sucks that you're allergic to them! I cannot even remember when my family last had a fake tree. Pre-teens, I imagine.

At least this change has improved your living conditions! I don't imagine those symptoms made the holiday joyful?!

Do you bake your own bread? I rarely bake bread myself, and the only kind I do make is banana bread. But I love smelling those baking at grocery stores!

That's quite the love list! I feel the same way about every one. Although I agree with the last one, coconut, I only like the smell, not the taste.

I do not like the smell of a wet dog, but dogs in general don't bother me... Pee from anyone is a disgusting smell, ha.

I love oranges! I don't like butter or garlic, but lots of people seem to enjoy them. And garlic is actually good for you.
