How Do You Hold On To Someone You've Never Met?  |

 "How do you hold on to someone you've never met?" That is the catch-phrase on the poster of one of my favorite movies, The Lake House, starring two of my favorite Holywood stars Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. I really loved the plot of the movie: two people who lived in the same house two years apart falling in love with each other through letters they exchanged via a mysterious mailbox which seems to bridge time. The film was moving and i had tears in my eyes constantly throughout the duration of the movie. Add to that the great chemistry between the two actors who first wowed viewers in Speed. It made me wonder if that was possible in real life. It's eerily unexplainable but such a romantic idea just the same. Who've seen this movie and care to give their two cents' on it?

3.  borgborg (530) | 2 years ago |  i haven't seen this movie yet. cherry just told me the story. but i think i can give my 2 cents about this. remember that there is a local film starred by dingdong & iza (i don't know if i spelled her name right). i think it's moments of love? the movie has a same plot with the lake house. if this can happen in real life, i hope i'll be the one living in the past. and since we are writing letters, i would ask for winning lotto numbers. sounds fun!;)

| crazyoverpurple (2927) | 2 years ago | yup, that was Moments of Love. but the characters in that film live like decades apart unlike in The Lake House where the time difference was just two years. what makes the latter different is the twist towards the end of the movie (which i won't give away so you still need to watch it!). you should try to see it. | |

| 4. jungletime (140) | 2 years ago |  How ya doin' Crazy? I love Sandra Bullock as well. Miss Congeniality is one of my favorite comedies. I saw Lake House quite awhile ago. I remember I really liked it but other than that I think I should watch it again! I do remember one thing in particular-strange that this is what I remember-she loved the smell of the dogs paws! I don't know.....My dogs paws STINK!! lol:)
