If you wear any sort of under garment, and you tuck in your shirt, do you tuck the shirt under the undergarments, or on top of them just under the trousers? Why do you do it the way that you do it?

Also, do you find that tucking in one's shirt makes a difference in keeping one's trousers from falling down?

Unless it's a very slippery, silky blouse that won't stay put in my waistband if I don't, I only tuck things into my trousers or skirts, not in my undergarments. And yes, I think that tucking in a shirt can definitely help hold up one's trousers or skirt. Unless of course, it's one of those particularly silky and slippery things, and then, it could very well do the opposite and you could find yourself with your pants down around your ankles. Could be amusing, but not always what you might want to have happen. Then again, it could facilitate quick removal of one's clothes if in a situation that welcomes that. There could be a positive side to almost everything!

"Then again, it could facilitate quick removal of one's clothes if in a situation that welcomes that. There could be a positive side to almost everything!"

Hmm, if I'm reading this correctly, this could come in very handy if one has the runs.

myLot reputation of 91/100. novataylor (1776)   ranked 16 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

Lol, Trans, I wasn't thinking of quite that situation, but hey, you're right, it could definitely come in handy if one has the runs, yup. You know me well enough to know what I was thinking, though, I'm just too sure!

D, I've never, never, never been first in one of our Trans' discussions. In fact, I'm usually so far out there in number, it seems almost futile to answer. I was shocked to have gotten to this one when I did. Next time, though, I'll be slower, I promise.

Oh, nova, it is never futile to answer a bear discussion. The sheer amusement of it can last for months!

Oh this is fun isn't it! The removal of clothes, especially of something silky can lead to ther silky things. Yes, you do see the positive side to everything!

I do lean that way, yes indeedy.

Woohoo, I am first! Take that xboxboy! (of course probably not by the time I get this posted). rasp

I try never to wear anything that requires being tucked in because I have this odd illusion that if I were things that cover my belly, it will make me look thinner. I know quite well in reality this has the oppostite effect sometimes, but I can't help it. It's a security thing.

When I did feel comfortable tucking things in, I did it both ways. Sometimes in my undergarments, sometimes just in my pants or skirt. Tucking them in the panties had nothing to do with keeping my pants up, but more to keep the shirt from coming untucked.

I'm so sorry you weren't first, D, because it seems that you really have egg on your face right now and you will from now until eternity, it seems. sad

If anyone else takes the time to read your response, they will see your shame. I mean, your shame is just right here in the open for all to see. Oh, what shame for you, D. For your sake, I hope that no one notices. cry

I will try not to bring any attention to your response here so that others won't see what you said about being first and snicker to themselves in regard to your ridiculously boastful (and erroneous) claim.

I just want you to know that I will lay low and not say much here so that no one sees what you said, D. whistle

Thank you for your understanding and trying to shield me from such shame and embarrassment. I only hope that I can return the favor for you someday. wubglarewub

WELL! I can say, and maybe I shouldn't, that it's common NOT to wear under britches in the summer. Breathing room is just as important for woman as men ya know. Do I tuck in my shirt, nope - I like thinks loose and airy.

myLot reputation of 96/100. Transdisc (14487)   ranked 5 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

I prefer loose and airy as well, LJ, but there are times when I must tuck. Even so, it can feel good to tuck when one doesn't wear anything under the trousers. shocked

Good Morning Trans,

Firstly I always wear knickers, I feel naked without them.
I know of a few females who do not wear knickers even under dress's.
OMG just think what would be happening on a windy day. YUK.

I only tuck my tops into my shorts, they are not long enough to tuck into my knickers.
Why do I tuck my tops in, because tucked in does not make me look so fat.

Hubby tucks his T-shirts into his undies.
He reckons the shirt stays tucked in better and keeps his back warm.

I don't know that tucking one's shirt in stops one's trouser's from falling down though.

myLot reputation of 95/100. dfn12968 (5580)   ranked 10 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

That's funny because it is just the opposite for me. I feel like I look like I have a bowling ball in my gut if I tuck my shirt in.

myLot reputation of 93/100. Goodie123 (7204)   ranked 8 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

I only wear tanks tops.
And if I wear them outside my shorts I look like I have 2 bowling balls shoved down my shorts. lol

myLot reputation of 96/100. Transdisc (14487)   ranked 5 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

This makes sense for knicker wearers, Goodie.

Another benefit of tucking one's shirt into one's undies is that it prevents plumber's crack. I imagine this is something that your husband has considered.

myLot reputation of 93/100. Goodie123 (7204)   ranked 8 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

Trans my hubby is so skinny he does not have a plumbers crack. lol

myLot reputation of 98/100. pyewacket (8520)   ranked 15 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

Hiya Goodie...hey love your new avatar... thumbup
I feel weird not wearing undies either. I wonder if that is true that Scottish men who wear kilts don't wear underwear....LOL

Eww...plumber's crack...grossninja

myLot reputation of 93/100. Goodie123 (7204)   ranked 8 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

Thank you Pye, I have been searching for weeks for a new avatar.

There is no way I can go without undies. Oh Yuk.

Poor hubby has no arse, so he will never get plumbers crack. LOL

myLot reputation of 95/100. dfn12968 (5580)   ranked 10 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

Hmmm....our Scottish men have been absent for a while.

myLot reputation of 93/100. Goodie123 (7204)   ranked 8 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

Hubbys forefathers were scottish, but he doesn't wear a kilt, so I do not know if it is true or not.

Yeah were is He? I watched Braveheart and I got a thrill out of it. As for tucking stuff in? Well I think that depends on what's for suffen? This isn't a sausage thread is it?

Oops, me mad, so in accordance to wearing attire, no, I don't tuck in the shirt either. Do the words muffin top mean anything?

myLot reputation of 93/100. Goodie123 (7204)   ranked 8 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

hello transdisc

how creative we are today! lol did you think up all of the names that there is to call underwear? lol but anyways, if i tuck a shirt inside of my jeans or dress pants that i might happen to be wearing, i tuck my shirt tale inside of between my undies and my jeans. i do not want my shirt stuck down inside of my undies. gross. lol you know? i guess that everybody has a different way in wearing their clothes. just like putting shoes and socks on. and depending on how loose that one's pants might be or not, that would probably depend on if tucking your shirt into your pants like that would keep them from falling down. lol

have a beautiful afternoon.

myLot reputation of 96/100. Transdisc (14487)   ranked 5 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

Unfortunately, I left out the most obvious -- undies.

I tend to put my socks on before I put on my shoes, but there have been some times when I've put on the shoes first.

myLot reputation of 96/100. Transdisc (14487)   ranked 5 out of 165 in lose weight  5 months ago

I imagine that drinking down a few belts every day would also help one retain one's trousers, pye. Thanks for the advice!!

I would never tuck anything into my panties as I would not want the line to be spoiled(if there is a line at all) LOL hahahahh..Also I do not often wear trousers or jeans or pants at all...I prefer dresses or skirts..I am a proper girly girl.
And if I do happen to indulge in jeans, I do not wear any shirt with them, only tops that fit perfectly at the top of the waistband or in the case of hip huggers, a short top to show the belly with the little belly ring.
