Why wont my Garmin Nuvi 200W base stick on my dashboard ?  

Hi i just bought a brand new Garmin Nuvi 200W and tried it out for the first time and everything went well. I try it a second time and something happed to the stickey tape on the bottom of the dash board holder for the GPS because it wont stick at all now. It looks like a small circle of sticky tape on the base and after i used the GPS the first time i replaced the small circular cover that is supposed to protect the stick surface.......i removed the protective cover the 2'nd time i used the GPS base and it wont stick to the dashboard at all. Does anyone know what i may have done wrong? Thanx i will pick a best answer
