You are indeed the best! Sometimes its not good to easily get mad or scold your son for something that he did. We should also consider his age, maybe if he is still very young he doesnt know that what he did is wrong. The best thing to do is talk to him and let him understand that what he did is not right, this way we could avoid the posibility of him doing it again in the future...
