A feature we need what do you think

I am as angry about this as you and a lot of her friends Mooch and what I can't understand is that it is allowed to carry on, Yuwie for example a classic example has the BLOCK option so that you can block or ignore other users especially if they spam, abuse or harrass you! Now I am sure that Mylot wouldn't for one second CONDONE harrassment, so I personally feel that our mutual friend should waste no more time and get onto HQ straight away and nip this in the bud. Because it is tantamount to HARRASSMENT. A BLOCK option is needed otherwise this will happen continually, whether it will be heard or not is another matter.

That is a VERY great idea, Mooch! Hopefully MyLot will take heed to its members' suggestions. Good luck with that!

I think we definitely need a block option. People here just keep getting bothered by people that do not understand what no means. Other big name message boards have block options and I think Mylot should be no different. We do need a block option, badly.

I think I've so far only requested one person since 2006. People usually request from me and if I deny it, they do not ask again..usually..it happened only once that a person asked again..but after denying it the second time, it did not happen again..but i do agree with you to have such a feature would be nice, I think.

There is a certain person I deleted because all he does is spam. All his discussions are about making money on his sites and the only reason he is here is to get referrals. I deleted him and he came back for 3 months every few days asking for friend request.. and I decline every time.. so I get tired of it and accept him just to be able to tell him why I am refusing him and then deleted him again.

That would be a great idea. One way they could do it is to put a section in the friends request that says deny and block user. Right now there is just accept and deny. If we had a deny and block user that would take care of that problem.

I like this idea Mooch. They use this feature in
Yuwie and Friendster. I hope MyLot admin can consider this
great idea. I haven't experienced repetitive request from
others though. But I think if they are doing that to you
they are just trying to annoy you Mooch.

mooch I think you have a good point. as for myself if I'was
denied once I would certaingly not come back. I have only'
asked to be someone's friend once. all my friends came to'me
for whatever reason. as I understand about this stalker
he or she was making insulting remarks to the person he or'
she stalked. surely that user can be turned in to mylot.

I was wondering why there was no ignore feature, many places have the ingore so that when someone is ignored you don't even see their posts any more.
