| 2. emma412 (905) | 2 years ago |  I agree, Rascal Flatts is a good one and they have some not so sappy songs. Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley.... all of these have some great non sappy songs. I could go on forever! Try these ones out and see what you think.

You won't know it for yourself until you hear it. A lot of artists have varying styles upbeat and then slow. | |

| 8. missykrissy85 (42) | 1 year ago |  There have definitely already been quite a few amazing artists listed here, but a couple that really stand out to me are Big and Rich, Sugarland and Brad Paisley. Their songs are always so fun and upbeat... definitely ones to check out. Miranda Lambert's songs have more serious subject content, but aren't "sappy" - also worth a try. Lastly, The Lost Trailers are pretty new, but their current single "Hollerback" is getting rave reviews! Great summer song! Hope this helps!

He complimented the CD and now listens to it whenever hes driving! I am so proud of him for coming so far into liking country music! I think He really liked cowboy Troy, Colt Ford, Alan Jackson and Toby Keith the best though. Then, one night we were lying in bed and were discussing that we didnt have a song and we were planning our wedding. We had the radio going at the time, and he was quiet. He told me that he really hadn't heard a song that described how he felt about me. No sooner than that, KISS Country 97.3 played George Strait's song "I Cross My Heart". We layed there listening to the song, after it had completed, He smiled and said "Baby, thats how much I love you! That is our song and it's gonna be played at our wedding". Talk about tears!!
