Elephant ride..

We don't have that and I haven't tried riding an elephant. Every time I will watch it on TV, that would always excite me and I wish someday I will be able to enjoy that experience too. Every special occasion in our school before, we have the horse riding just around the campus. It was my first and maybe last experience..I love it!

Hi bhuabneshwars! The first time I have seen an elephant is in the zoo here in our country. We were allowed to feed him upon the supervision of the zoo caretaker. And when I went to Thailand before, I was able to see a few elephants on the street and we are allowed to feed them and get near them. It is quite exciting to be near an elephant but to be honest with you, I was a little scared. I didn't ride the elephant even the vendor says that it is alright so that I can have my photo taken. My friends did however and they all have the photo souvenir.

No I have never had the chance to take a elephant ride. They don't have such a thing at our zoo's, the only place where elephants are at. I would love to do this someday though...Lori

oh my gosh! i would love to take an elephant ride like that. i'll jet right there and wait my turn to ride the elephants. it sounds like you have such a lovely country where that you live. and to answer your question about does my place have such a provision about riding the elephants like that?, to my knowledge the only place that you can ride an elephant here where that i live, is if the circus comes to town, and i think that there is one big circus once a year that comes to town here. i am not for sure how much even that it costs to get into the circus. nothing is cheap these days. not even going to the circus with your children. thanks for sharing with all of us here at Mylot about the elephant rides in your country.

That must be wonderful! I remember getting donkey rides at the seaside many years ago but that is nowhere as much fun as an Elephant ride must be! I would love a chance to ride on an elephant and I know my kids would but we don't get that chance here! xxx

Last time I had a ride on elephant was when I was a young child and it wasn't anywhere else but my city zoo in Pakistan. Our city zoo offered rides back then but I don't think they continue to do so now. We don't have elephants moving on roads there except in some far off villages and rural areas. We did have them in my city especially near my grandmother's house but it was even before my last ride, I think. We used to feed them with sugarcane and something else that I don't remember. More than 23 years have passed now and my memory is a little fuzzy about the details.

there are no elephants native to north america, I saw them in a circus and zoo, I don't ever remember riding one, though I do remember riding a camel from the zoo once.

Hi papa. We don't have that kind of ride in the
Philippines. What we have there are horse riding sites in nearby
provinces. I would like to experience elephant ride. I usually
see this as an attraction in Thailand, where tourist pay and get
a ride.

When the traveling circus comes to town there will be Elephants.At intermission they will allow kids to take a ride, or have a picture by them .

I have no experienced with some elephant ride but I have experience riding a horse. And thats cool.
